A group of us (family and friends) rented out all three of Josh's cabins this past weekend, although even booking one of these cabins would be super private as they are far away from each other. This is an exceptional piece of land, with a cold rushing creek for us to beat the heat, meadows with butterflies and flowers, privacy, and great views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Josh has this place completely dialed in and the experience is exceptional. Great cabins, nice outdoor picnic and dining area, a great outdoor gas stove, and even a gas-powered fire pit since there was a wood burning fire ban when we were there. We had a chance to meet Josh and his wife and father along the way when they came to check in with us and make sure everything was good, and they were all genuinely very nice people. Josh was a great communicator from the initial booking process through the trip. Highly recommended, an awesome experience. We are looking forward to returning.
Great cabin and location.
Great cabin. Right next to creek which made for a nice place to clean up after a hot day. Cool historic cabin with an add on front porch. My wife and I enjoyed coffee in the am as the sun hit the canyon walls and wine at sunset. About 10 mins to Emigrant store (which has everything) and 30 mins to Yellowstone. Host was super helpful and accommodating. Great site for a couple or group with other cabins. Bring sleeping bags and camp cooking plans, plates, etc. it was a perfect two nights.
Off the grid
Very nice and private rustic cabin. Four wheel drive is recommended. Lots of stars and quiet. The creek next to the cabin was very relaxing. Jim and his family greeted us upon arrival. They seemed nice. Couldn’t have a fire during our stay, but not a big deal. Would’ve been nice to have a fire on our first bight there though. This was my wife’s favorite place that we stayed, probably mine too.
Magical place, awesome host
cute and cozy! a magical place to spend the night in Paradise Valley. Josh’s cabin is a calming oasis in the woods that completely recharged our souls. be sure to hike up to the falls! dog gives it fives stars too! will be back :)
I loved this cabin - it has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Very thoughtfully put together in that way. The stream running by the cabin is so charming and the location is really incredible.
