Description

There are six buildings chillin’ in this area, but only two of the cabins have been restored and are available for your camping pleasure. The West Fork of Rock Creek Cabin is one of your small and wonderful options, and it’ll grant you access to the best of southwestern Montana’s mountains, but without the hassle of having to pitch a tent. The cabin is close to the Anaconda Pintler Wilderness, an area well-loved for it’s wild and rugged mountains. There are also several mountain streams and ponds nearby, which serve up some fascinating wildlife viewing opportunities. During the winter you’ll have to plan ahead for your water needs, but the rest of the year is smooth sailing. There’s even basic cookware, a propane stove, and a nostalgic wood stove for heat. And, once you arrive, you’ll only be using that cell phone for selfies and Instagram-worthy pics. Ahh, the joys of being unplugged!
