In the peaks of these mountains, you'll find fresh, crisp air, wildlife, and a view of the northern Rockies that can only be appreciated from 7000 feet. Beautiful forest and grass flows from the foundations of what was once a major mining capital in Montana.

Here you will find a 10x12 foot canvas tent, absolute silence, privacy, and evening sunsets that defy description. This is an off grid experience for the true adventurer!

Wood stove for heat, queen sized bed and a cot have been provided for you. (More cots available upon request).

Also provided are water bottles, paper products, wood for the stove, and extra blankets.

Good cell service through major carriers.

A separate canvas tent is available if you want to bring a larger group, although it is far enough away to still enjoy privacy at both sites.

Outhouse with composting toilet shared with other tent site up the hill.

There are a myriad of activities to do on the mountain, the Discovery Ski Resort, and of course the beloved town of Philipsburg with its ice rink, theatre, museums, history, shops, and restaurants.

Generally, we don't want pets in the canvas tents but they are always welcome to frolic in the surrounding forests (don't let them wander too far though, they might find a friend or two). If you want to talk about your furry friends quartering with you overnight, please feel free to reach out!

When snow is not present, parking for most vehicles, including sedans, is available near the Ghost Town. ATVs and other high clearance vehicles welcome on the property at your own risk (gets a little rocky).

When snow is present, it is highly recommended to park at the Ghost Town and walk the five minutes to the tent and only drive high clearance vehicles to the Ghost Town.

Contact us for possible alternative transportation.

We're excited to share our little piece of heaven with you!
