This area provides a Missouri Ozark border region "Front Porch Experience".     There are no artificial lights, so views of the sky are very good.  There are country sounds like birds, coyotes, horses, frogs, and occasionally a vehicle on the gravel road. If you have a group of friends and family that want exclusive use of the area that may be possible.  Just contact us and we can work out the details.

In addition to camping, you can walk a trail or canopied gravel road to stretch your legs.  Feeling adventurous? One mile to the north, there is a old iron bridge that is closed to vehicle traffic. It has a plank floor with some missing planks.  Locals fish from it. It is a great place to take artsy pictures.  You can walk, bike, or ride your horse on our county road. The WORLD famous Katy Trail is a biking/walking trail that was re-purposed from a railway. It is about a 15-20 minute drive away.  A local chef ( 8 miles away) makes THE BEST carry out pizza on Friday and Saturday nights.  About 20 minutes away in Boonville with many dining option, and Columbia of course has everything.  There is fishing available from  our own private river access at the Petite Saline creek. The stream is quiet, slow backwater whose level depends on the Missouri River level.  Access is not ideal, but determined canoers and kayakers will enjoy the rich biological diversity including jumping Silver Carp.

The rv sites at Selby Farm is gorgeous! Well equipped with electric and water. We had complete privacy except for the friendly horses that greeted us. Gracious hosts. If you want to be able to keep the comforts of an rv without sacrificing privacy…you will enjoy this spot!

Beautiful spot! Site 1, on gravel, was easy to access and hookups worked great. The barn and horses create a lovely environment to relax and watch the sun set.

The farm was a great stay. Had everything you need water, power, level grass ground, very clean porta potty, super quiet and remote but not too remote you can't get back the 70 in a timely manner. The horses were fun and so much open space for the dog to play and run around with no drama. We had the place to ourselves for the night and it was a blast. Doug was super responsive and very cool in person. We really liked the table for washing up, that's a great touch while camping. Definitely check it out!

The van parked in spot 2 near the barn. Very cool spot to camp for the night.

Doug and Brenda offered us a spectacular experience. The grounds were simple, quiet, and lovely. Doug stopped by to check on us. We only stopped for the night and we were the only ones there—perfect for a hot evening on our way to Mt. Rushmore.

We would definitely stay here again! It was close enough to Hwy 70 so that it was easy access, yet far enough away to 'feel the country living'. We loved having the opportunity to stay on a farm for a short time. We enjoyed having this property to ourselves. The landscape was just beautiful. It was so peaceful. Watching the horses was fun and interesting. Doug and Brenda were very helpful and informative. We had our privacy yet felt like we had support from the owners if we needed it. Doug and Brenda were kind and friendly. We can't wait to go back with our dog.

(FOLLOW DOUG'S WRITTEN DIRECTIONS TO THE SITE--SERIOUS MISTAKE NOT TO!!!)
Loved this place! We went here for our first camping trip in our brand new RV, so were still learning the ropes. Doug was an excellent host--made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay and gave us some valuable camping tips. Does have 30 amp electric hookup and water hose to attach to.
Beautiful views in both directions from Site #2. Gorgeous, friendly horses were sometimes just feet from our camper, so that was a thrill. We were the only ones there and no houses were visible (just the horse barn), so it was like our own little private getaway. Would also make a great private place to get together with friends or family. Highly recommend.

An absolutely out-of-the-way vacay relax spot. Beautiful location that was all set up by Doug when we got there after a really long drive. It was a real treat to learn that this was a horse retirement farm and the family really takes great care of the animals. We really loved the opportunity to visit the various sites around the farm that included Columbia and Boonville as well as the Katy Trail and some of the vineyards on the Missouri River. a good first stop for our eighteen day camping extravaganza
