Quiet, peaceful retreat.
We had a great time at Green Acres at Red Brick Farmhouse. Our host Annette and her crazy husband Kenton made our extended weekend stay all the better. Their farm sits in the middle of beautiful rolling farm land (this year it was planted in soybeans). We heard the crickets and coyotes every night, watched beautiful sunsets, and an amazing sunrise through the morning fog following the previous evenings light rain. Annette and Kenton allowed us to use their basement shower and restroom and treated us to an ice cold beverage our first night at their farm. Their property was beautifully maintained and Annette’s flowers we gorgeous. We camped in our pop-up tent trailer and we’re able to take advantage of the nearby electrical hookup and water spigot. Their BBQ restaurant was closed the night we planned to eat there so we will have to come back soon.
A must try…..
This was a very 1st outing with our RV and we thought this was a perfect place for us to stay. Wow… it did not disappoint. Very charming and Annette and her husband were so awesome. So accommodating.. it’s a must try!!! We will be back and next time we will try their restaurant in town😊
