Such a great experience! The host was amazing and so accommodating and kind to share his welding gloves with us. We most definitely will return.

We loved staying at the secluded yurt site! There were carts to help you get your things there, a grill similar to those at State Parks, a fire ring, firewood for sale, a compostable toilet, and bins for recycling and trash at the site -- plus, the tent is all set up for you. It was a spacious yurt style tent. The hosts were warm and helpful and have some incredibly cute chickens and dogs. 😍

This spot was so lovely!! Dan and Danielle were great hosts. We felt like we were deep in nature, but it was super easy to get here, and there were multiple adventures to be had within a few miles if we wanted to go see the sights. The campsite was perfect, secluded, and felt like home, the yurt kept us dry in the heavy rain, and we enjoyed listening to frogs, birds, sheep, and squirrels throughout our stay. I hope to come back!

What a great secluded getaway not far from the Cities. It’s certainly a hike to get to this spot, but the available carts provided by the hosts make it super simple. We loved the spot and the open meadow right outside the campsite. We especially loved how private the site is. We’ll definitely visit again!

Third time staying at this campground and I love it so much. The sights and sounds of nature (so many fire flies!) , the beauty of the landscape, and the proximity to fun activities and amenities can’t be beat.

Dan and Danielle are great and responsive hosts and clued us in to the bike paths, a wonderful waterfall nearby one of activities, as well as sold us firewood and delivered it to our site via ATV so we wouldn’t have to bring it on our bikes.

We had planned on biking to camp but due to the heat we drove our bikes in our cars to camp and then biked into Franconia and Lindström for day trips. A combination of trails and wide shoulders made for lovely and safe biking in the area and a great way to see the surrounding towns.

The grass path trail to the campsite was nice and dry this time and we were able to ride our bikes back to the camp in less than five minutes, or it’s a brisk 20 minute walk. We brought along a camp shower for washing hands after using the composting toilet and that was a big upgrade. Don’t forget the bug spray and sunblock and keep applying both!

It’s so nice to come to a camp where it’s all set up, with the composting toilet, a picnic table, fire pit, some chairs, the lovely yurt, garbage and recycling, and a grill. We did use chairs as “tables” but consider horizontal space when planning your trip. Next time we’ll bring a small folding table to help with food prep.

I’m already planning my next trip to visit another of the four camp sites (I’ve now stayed in two) hopefully to coincide with some of the fun things happening at Franconia through the the summer.

This was a wonderful, secluded site to stay at. The hosts Dan and Danielle were great to work with as well. We had some rain during our stay but stayed very dry in the tent. Our pups loved the stay also!

Dan and Danielle were wonderful host! Our stay was all we could ask for, secluded and serene. We loved the fact that it was near state parks! I would recommend this stay if you're looking for a low-key getaway with your little family or a loved one.

We loved our stay at Stone Creek Farm! The setting and camp site was perfect, clean and private and the paths to walk around the farm were beautiful. We had unusually cold weather for October, and Dan and Dani were so kind to warn us of the forecast and check in each morning to make sure we were staying warm. The surrounding area of Taylor’s Falls, Saint Croix Falls and Marine on Saint Croix were also beautiful areas to explore during our stay. We will definitely be back!

The farm was absolutely beautiful & so peaceful for a weekend away. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible. The tent, picnic table, outhouse, fire pit, and chairs were all in great shape. Would 10/10 recommend this stay to anyone thinking about booking.
