Very nice and cordial host and beautiful bluff property! There is a cave that I wanted to see but it was raining heavily during my stay so I wasn't around much but i would definitely suggest a stay here.

This was the most relaxing camping experience we have ever had! Michelle and Patty were both very friendly and gave us many excellent recommendations for local places to eat and hike. The animals were all very sweet and friendly and well maintained in natural environments. It is obvious these folks love their farm and their animals love their job of maintaining the countryside and being animal ambassadors. The cave was very interesting and novel. Thanks! We'll be back!

All the animals were so sweet, and Patty and Michelle were great hosts! It felt so welcoming there and it was so much fun to just watch and pet the animals all day. The cave was also very unique and interesting to explore. 10/10! :)

Back in the city after staying at “Life is Good,” last weekend and already missing the oasis that is Shady Rest Acres. The campsite spaciously accommodated our group of four, two adults. All the amenities described in this site’s profile are accurate and great. Not visible in all the photos, the site’s fire pit has a grill now too. I urge future guests to make sure and ask Patty and Michelle for local sightseeing recommendations, they won’t disappoint.

Patty and Michelle were excellent hosts. The farm was peaceful and fun. The animals were just as cordial. Our stay was cut short due to tent malfunctions, unexpected cold, and our 7 yr old ready to go home, however, I would highly recommend.

We had another wonderful weekend here at the farm. Beautiful fall foliage covered the hills which surrounded us. We met a couple of new cat friends, saw the donkeys get excited when the neighbors brought their horses over for a visit, and willow the big white gentle giant dog came by a few times to say hello. This is an awesome piece of land with very nice gracious hosts.
