If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Our grouse hunting party was looking for a place not too far from the Iron Range for a base camp. Ed and Tamera kindly worked with us to accommodate five in the cabin (we brought our own inflatable mattress). Ed oriented us to the trails on their 120 acres, and provided directions and recommendations. They are very good at communicating. The cabin is small, comfortable, and clean, with an effective gas heater. The silo Tiki bar and outdoor firering add a lot. The fall colors of the aspen in mid October were spectacular, and the dark night sky is great. Having visited many similar settings (cabins, campers, etc) over the years, this was one of the best, and a great value. Bravo!
Can't wait to go back!!! :-)
We loved this spot, and will definitely return asap! Lawrence went above and beyond to help us be comfortable and offered very thoughtful amenities. Beautiful view to wake up to.
We had a great stay at the Peaceful Porch Cabin! The cabin is simple but very nicely done. Very comfortable and nice adds like the games, two fans and plenty of blankets made it cozy. We loved the gazebo and fire pit. It is a fantastic place for star gazing. A great spot!
The host are some of the nicest people you will meet, they have gone above and beyond to make you comfy there. The cabin is adorable, and the vibes of this place is just too notch, would definitely recommend staying here.
A pleasantly surprising treat!
This place was so great! Beautiful property with all the quaint details you didn’t know you’d appreciate! Plenty of flat space to set up tents near and far. The cabin is so roomy and cozy. It has carpeting, strong coffee, a luxurious bed, a giant table for dining or games. The porch is truly peaceful. There’s a shared space that is a large grain bin gazebo which is a nice bonus. The hosts are super nice and accommodating. I just cannot say enough about this wonderful find. It will only get better and better as it continues to be developed and we look forward to another visit some day!
Cabin retreat on 120 acres
When I saw the cabin from the road, I was excited. Larry had communicated with me and told me that he wouldn’t be on the property but texted me a code for the key. The cabin was nicely equipped with everything needed. Plenty of blankets comforters and pillows. The cabin has a tv and a nice gas heater. It was in the 40s the first night, the heater made the cabin very cozy. The second night was warm and I left a couple of windows open. The gentle breezes and the almost silent surroundings made it a perfect place to rest after driving 12,000 Mike’s. I immediately booked the second night after settling in, it was the perfect decision. There is a screened in gazebo made from a water tank test is a great room to look out over the green grassy hills and trees. A lot of attention to detail with the layout of the property. A portapotty with a sentinel light and a wooden seat made the site complete. I would stay here again. For sure, I have stayed in 6-7 little cabins over the last 2 months, this was the nicest setup.
