If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This site is great! John was so welcoming and left us with all the materials we needed. Our weekend was cold and rainy and he offered us a tent warmer (we had brought one with us so didn’t need it), which was so nice. He even brought treats for our dog who was traveling with us. During the day we enjoyed walking on the trail behind the site, and using the fire pit! We’d definitely stay here again, and hopefully with nicer weather! :)
John has made a really wonderful set up here! Great space under the trees with some open space out front - perfect for some yard games. We had plenty of room under the trees for two tents, space around the fire pit, and a great set up for making our meals. A clean and well lit porta-potty, drinking water, and additional firewood was all easily accessible from the campsite.
John is a great host who makes sure you have everything you need. The property is beautiful, and we'll definitely look forward to coming back in different seasons to enjoy the full extent of his farm & land.
Beautiful land, great amenities
John welcomed us, checked in on us, and gave a great overview of the land. The campsite was beautiful and private, with a nice set of amenities. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore, with so much land knowledge that John shared with us.
Girls getaway success!
John provided us with beautiful landscape, plenty of firewood, fresh water, and wine trail recommendations to enjoy within minutes of the campsite. We felt safe and pleased with our experience!
Incredible space tucked under a canopy of trees. Great mix of shade and light. And John has thought of everything. If you like to cook when you camp, it is all here, everything you would need, including an amazing prep space. One of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed at, and an incredible value. Can’t wait to come back!
So much to do and see!
We loved staying on the vinyard and picking grapes. John was very helpful getting us set up and stopping by a couple more times to make sure we had everything we needed and offer info on the area.
We appreciated all the work John puts into the place. We had plenty of seating, some supplies provided, bins for recycling and trash and a clothesline. It made it everything so easy.
It did rain off and on while we were there, the tree cover over the camp made it so we could still hang outside without getting too wet.
We had so much we wanted to do in two nights. We biked to wineries. There are so many within a couple miles, we liked Red Top best. We also went to Warren Dunes. Hiking on the dunes followed by jumping in the lake was a fantastic and unique experience. We want to come back to John's again since there is so much to do, see, eat, and pick in the area.
