Lake Charlevoix vacation overlook

We're already planning a return trip: Chuck was very helpful, readily accommodated our unpredictable arrival time, and kept us supplied with water and firewood. The site itself has outstanding views, is very clean and tidy (including the outhouse), provides complete privacy while also being wide open, and offers quick and easy access to Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix. No need to go further down the wormhole of endless searching - register for this spot and enjoy.

Wow! This site is one that is unbelievably beautiful. The peace and serenity is unmatched. Chuck was a great host. His communication prior to our reservation was excellent. He met us at the entrance of his property as we arrived and personally guided us up to the site. There was plenty of firewood provided, along with a ziploc bag of fire starter supplies. A nice touch for sure! An extremely clean outhouse was on the property too! Chuck was available throughout our stay if we needed anything but gave us the freedom to enjoy our stay without additional contact if wanted. Just a supreme host. We not only felt like we were all alone, but we literally were! We have stayed at multiple Hipcamp sites but not a one touched the beauty of this one. The view of Lake Charlevoix is amazing and the sunsets on the opposite side are equally as beautiful. The privacy is unmatched. Very close to downtown Charlevoix and any other stores possibly needed. There is no doubt that we will be back as this site has moved to the top of our list! Thanks Chuck for allowing us to share in the awesome experience of this one of a kind site. We are so fortunate that we came across this premier Hipcamp location.
