Nice campsite by the water. Since we were visiting in the spring the geese were defending their goslings most of the night so it wasn't the most serene campsite as a result. Would give it another shot in the fall though.
Love this please. Beautiful horses around the camp. Needs better instructions on how to logging and bathroom locations before your arrival.
But is a very nice place after all.
Nice… but not sure we’ll be back
Generally, we had a good stay. Beautiful site, access to restrooms…. I wish I had known how close the site was to the horses and that the site was inaccessible twice a day because the horses come in/out of pasture.
The two sites by the lake would be fine for two small groups - and it was fine - but with two separate large groups, there was more noise than I hoped for - especially with the acoustics off the lake.
The listing stated a grill and trash accessible, but we arrived second to the property, so those things were found on the other site.
Also, wish we could have requested a trail ride before we arrived. When we arrived we were told it was probably too late to arrange.
Beautiful camp site with a fire ring, tables and nice flat ground! Lots of huge blue gill in the lake and the campground is so quiet and peaceful!
Great place to stay. Very quite and good space. Also, nice to wake up seeing horses not too far off the site.
Beautiful with a summer camp feel. Really enjoyed our nights here! Would plan a hike off property as there is a lot of poo and horses being moved around- it is a very active horse stable. Loved having the horses to watch!
