"Elysium Heritage Farm" is situated on 120 acres in Northeast, MI surrounded by woods, trails, ponds and canals. Enjoy access to a small farm that includes fainting goats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, and more. Bring your pole and try your luck at some catch and release fishing. Enjoy viewing numerous types of wildflowers, birds, and butterflies. Depending on the season, (and how quietly you walk the trails) you may experience a wide variety of wildlife species. Although we don't allow motorized ATVs, you are welcome to bring a golf cart. Most of the trails are improved enough to allow you access. The property is located just (5) miles off I-75 so it's also a convenient mid-trip destination for those on a longer distance excursion. In case you plan on fishing the local hotspots on Lake Huron (15 minutes away) and are trailering a boat, there is plenty of area to park your rig during your stay. It's only a ten minute drive to Pinconning, where you can experience Michigan's "Cheese Town" and all it has to offer. There's a grocery store, numerous cheese shops, and a variety of party stores and restaurants. For the outdoor enthusiasts, don't miss out on going to the ever-famous "Northwoods Wholesale Outlet". Also nearby is the "Saganing Eagles Landing Casino" in Standish. We have resided here for over 30 years and can assist you in many ways to get the most out of your visit. By the way, the definition of the word "Elysium" is "Place of perfect bliss" and yes, we labeled it that long before the movie with Matt Damon was created.

"The Cabin"
Best Hipcamp around!
Kim and Jeff are wonderful hosts, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The farm was so fun for our 1.5 year old and the cabin is family friendly with everything you need! If you’re thinking about staying- do it, it will exceed your expectations!

Exceptionally Cozy Farm Stay
this was my first time using hipcamp and it was such a pleasure spending it here that I actually extended my stay by a few days. Kim and her husband are very welcoming and accommodating. During my stay I worked from my van and Kim offered their wifi which worked very well for all of my remote work calls and deadlines I needed to meet during the week. I worked all week with no issues thanks to their wifi. This camp spot also hosted a very cute area with a table, grill and fire pit (which sadly I never used.. maybe next time!), a bathroom area with a composting toilet and a 30amp electrical hookup if needed. They also offered water. Everything was exceptional here - the hosts, the animals, and the amenities. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely come back!

"Farm Camp"
The best family farm experience.
We tent camped at the Farm Camp. What a great experience. The farm was super cute. This family's homestead is very clearly a lifetime of love poured into property. So many things to do from fishing and canoeing to petting super fluffy bunnies and hiking. Kim and Jeff were so beyond hospitable that we cannot wait to return (hopefully on a slightly warmer weekend).

"The Cabin"
A birthday weekend to remember
Kim and Jeff were the best hosts. We walked into the cabin to an easter basket for our daughter as well as some beautiful flowers to plant. They took the time to give us a tour of their farm and let our daughter see the baby bunnies— they were so cute. We loved taking the canoe down the creek, You can tell the amount of hard work and love they put into the place. It really was amazing to know they built it all on their own. Such a special spot that we have lasting memories at! Excited to return!

Love it here! I was here solo for two snowy days... The dog and I had a lovely time walking trails and watching birds. We'll be back for sure
