If you are looking for wide open desert with no one around and 360 degree mountain views, you will love this campsite. It is almost perfectly quiet there especially at night. This part of the desert is not fenced in and you can wander for miles if you like. We have a simple fire pit with a grate for you to cook on and you are free to camp anywhere you like. If it happens to be a windy night, we have tires you can stack to protect the fire and your tent. There are also some interesting coffee concrete tables around the property made for you to enjoy over breakfast.

You will be in the perfect location to access some of the lesser known but fascinating parts of the big bend region. You are 20 minutes from a true ghost town: Shafter. You are 20 minutes from Presidio/Ojinaga should you need supplies or a meal. You are about 45 minutes from Big Bend Ranch State Park and the Rio Grande for hiking, swimming and biking. You are about a 50 minute drive to Marfa if you want to see art and have some fancy meals. All of the drives in this area are gorgeous and remote.
