This was my kids' first camping trip and they had a blast! There is a small playset with swings and a slide which they made good use of and the porta potty was immaculate. The campsites are in an open field so there was plenty of room for the kids to run around, and, since I could always see them, I didn't mind them going farther away from me than I normally would.

The weather was great with s breeze during the day that kept the temperatures to a comfortable level and the mostly clear skies made for a night sky with hundreds of stars.

Phil was an exceptional host. He was warm, welcoming, and helpful. He led us out to our site, brought our firewood, and then came back to check on us later. The next day when he was introducing us to the alpacas, he was great with the kids and answering their questions. The kids have already asked when we're going back, so it's only a matter of time.

Phil's land is beautiful and he's a great host. He met us at the gate and showed us to our camp site and then checked in with us after we were set up to make sure everything was okay. The next morning he took us to where the alpacas live and told us all about them! It was educational and fun. We can't wait to camp here again!

Staying on Phil's alpaca farm was the absolute BEST. When my partner and I arrived, Phil greeted us, showed us to our site, and spoke to us for a while before we set up and retreated for the night. I offered to lend a hand the next morning and he AGREED (never turn down free help haha). The next morning I was up bright and early and although I missed out on the feeding, Phil still spent a ton of time with us while we pet and interacted with the alpacas. It was such an amazing experience getting to interact directly with the alpacas on Phil's farm. You can tell that he has a great care for his animals.

Phil was a lovely and amazing host. The property is so well kept, and the sweet sweet wonderful alpacas! You have to have him take you on the alpaca farm tour because it is truly magical. If you love animals you are going to be in love with this little campsite, waking up to the alpacas curious and sweet little heads mulling about was wonderful. Special special place. Thank you for having us Phil!

This was our first Hipcamp experience. What a terrific first choice. We loved Phil's Alpaca Farm. He was a super host and very generous with his time. The Alpaca tour was a lot of fun and informative. Our daughter loved feeding and petting the animals, as did we. We chose campsite one, which is closest to the Alpacas. The setting is gorgeous, although there is no shade or access to water. We've never seen such a clean porta-potty. We'd happily come back.
