What a great experience. Tons of animals, horseback riding adventures, and beautiful open skies. Karen's land is wonderful. The sites are all well kept, each with their own trash receptacle and storage for firewood. The sites were close without feeling cramped. We had a great time with our fellow campers some of whom joined us for stargazing when I set up a couple of telescopes.
Karen was very attentive and generous with the firewood and taking extra time with my wife and daughter after horseback riding. The porta-pot was also one of the cleanest and well stocked I have ever seen. Everything about this trip was positive. We can't wait for our next visit!
Quiet, clean, fun seeing all the baby animals. We were only looking for a place to sleep in our camper van as we were visiting family and were pleasantly surprised at the convenience and Dalit use.
We loved camping here! We had site 1 with a great view of horses. My kids adored the friendly and loveable pooch who came to visit us often. Firewood bundles are generous. The portojohn was spotless and well stocked. The sites were huge. The kids liked so much space to play. We will definitely come back!
What a nice place to camp with kids! By myself, I like camping in a more rustic and/or primitive setting, but with my daughter I wanted to be a little closer to home, have decent cell reception, and have the option to do things close by. All those boxes were checked with this site. In addition, I was able to go home or to the store for the items I had forgotten to pack.
The site was very well maintained. There was a trash can with a lid, picnic table, and fire pit. In addition, there was already a lidded tub full of dried wood, ready to burn!
It was very nice seeing the horses and other animals. They didn't bother me much, however, I was not prepared for the noises of the goats (I think they were goats). They reminded me of kids yelling and screaming.
As we were leaving, my daughter asked if we could come back to this very same site. She really enjoyed it, especially the "baby horse" in the pen nearby.
Beautiful farm spot! Each camp site is so nicely shaded and has fireplace and grill available to use. If you're an animal lover and enjoy primitive camping, this spot is the place to be!

Karen greeted us as we arrived to ensure we knew where to go and see if we needed any help. Thank you Karen

This is a really nice, clean and quiet place to stay. The host and owner were both really cool and my kids loved looking at the horses. If you’re bringing an RV, just make sure rain isn’t in the forecast because getting out can be a bit tricky. We will definitely stay here again.
The weather wasn't great for the start our trip... cold, rainy and windy. Karen kept checking in to make sure we were OK. The campsite was nice and quite. we liked watching the horses and sheep out int he feild by our tent. The location was close to Fair Hill Park for Mt. biking and half an hour from Longwood Gardens.
