The original river campsite has been moved to a more remote spot so that all campers can access the pond and pier to the river.

This was my second trip to Bald Eagle Farm on the Patuxent and, hopefully, it won’t be my last. Unlike campgrounds, where your neighbor can be mere feet away from your site, you don’t see anyone from your site at the farm. During my stay, the only person I saw in four days was Yates, the owner. He, and his sweet doggy buddy, came to welcome me and then I was all alone. It feels totally safe there to me too. As a senior woman, my friends are surprised to hear that I can sit in the woods at night, alone. But I feel safe and secure there around my campfire by myself. I look forward to my next visit!

Beautiful campsite, serene and great for families. Lots of space for our kid’s to run around, and Yates was really sweet, flexible and showed my daughter around his barn! Excellent stay. I’ll definitely come back and fully recommend!

We had a wonderful visit to the farm. Yates was very welcoming and kind. The sites are private..we stayed at site 4. A great spot. .we brought our motorhome so we parked outside the canopy of trees. There is plenty of room under the trees for at least 2 tents. Don't forget your kayaks or canoe. There is a small dock to put you boat in and you can paddle around all day. We only stayed overnight but it the farm is definitely a place to visit again. Our dogs had the greatest time, running around for hours and exploring! Thanks for having us Bald Eagle Farm!

Had a great stay at site #4 with my 6yo. The site was secluded and a short walk to the dock where he tried fishing for the first time. Will definitely be back with the whole family!

Bald Eagle Farms is an idyllic slice of natural heaven on the Patuxent! Easy drive from basically anywhere in the DMV. Saw several different raptor species fly around us over our 24hrs, the marshy waterway to the Patuxent is beautiful and easy paddling, and the campsite was easy access and felt secluded without being too far from resources if needed. Definitely will be returning. Thanks Yates & co!
