Close to nearby Bliss woods hiking trails and within 15 minutes from restaurants and festivities offered in Portland. While offering private seclusion in the pine woods, you’ll find endless activities minutes away on the coast of Casco Bay.Park your RV trailer in our secluded grass field surrounded by pine and fir trees. You will have access to a large sitting area with fire pit. This camp site is a 20 minute walk to the ocean, 10 minute drive to downtown Freeport and Wolf Neck State Park. This area offers hiking, biking, sea kayaks and endless activities offered by LL bean with professional instructors and guides.

Minglewood

This was an amazing site, the location being near downtown Freeport, and Portland and close to the coast. Beautiful meadow in the woods with a picnic table, fire pit (with dry firewood and tiki torches included) , chairs, and flat gravel parking area with plenty of space. Ron also responded to messages in a timely manner, gave clear instructions with where to go and where to park, and came out to meet us! All in all great place to stay!

Excellent!

Ron was an Excellent host! Provided firewood, clear easy access instructions, nice level parking spot, and fire pit was a great touch with chairs provided! Thanks for a nice little "staycation"

Lovely host, can’t go wrong

Despite our unceremonious arrival (getting stuck in the mud at 9pm - sorry again for that, Ron) Ron was a kind and courteous host. His property is well maintained, thoughtfully appointed, private, and absolutely beautiful in the autumn foliage. Not to mention it’s a 10 minute or less drive to Freeport and all the surrounding beauty. 10/10 stay, wouldn’t hesitate to return if he’d have us back!!

Enjoyed our stay at Ron’s! Instructions were clear and the site was well kept. Ron was very helpful and friendly. Perfect distance from Freeport and Portland. Would definitely stay again

A great place to stay! I was there for two nights and camped in my car, and felt very at home and safe.
