Description

Although there’s no water park or slip n' slide, Turtle Slide Campground is still a watery good place to sleep under the stars. You will be on the bank of Lower Caney Lake where you can fish from shore or from your boat. Bring along the hiking boots because the Sugar Cane National Recreation Trail passes right through camp, and will be a sweet hike to stretch your legs on. Slide on down to set up camp for a healthy dose of the outdoors.
