Nestled deep in the heart of Gidgegannup, less than an hours drive out of Perth, lays our stunning 54-acre property: Gidgy Farm. There is lots to see and do on and around the property, from bushwalking to mountain biking, to swimming in the dam. We have granite rock formations, walking tracks and our private spring feed dam has a 6-meter jetty, perfect for making a splash, or chilling out in the sun. Come and relax by the Dam or explore the property by bike or foot. We have alpacas, a pony, horses, chickens and dogs to meet plus many wild kangaroos. It's a friendly, animal-family vibe here. Campers are welcome to bring their own dog, but please ensure they're kept on a lead at all times. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and take all waste with them when they go. We do not provide facilities, just a fantastic spot to camp out under the stars for a few nights. We currently take one group at a time only - so you have the space all to yourself, plenty of privacy. Please note, on the odd occasion, our family may use the dam for swimming ourselves. The township of Gidgegannup is just five minutes drive up the road, and here you'll find an IGA, PO Box, Servos and Bottleshop.

A great little getaway...

A great setting close to Perth. Easy access, well laid out site, and the views are incredible. Highly recommend a visit.

Loved it, great spot. Would recommend it to anyone. Peaceful, private. Well worth a visit. Nice swimming in the dam. Perfect for a quiet couple of days away.

Awesome Hipcamp

We had the pleasure of being the first caravan to stay at this wonderful Hipcamp. We were greeted by two gorgeous Alpacas Salt and Peppa along with our lovely hosts. They made us feel very welcome on their property. Our favourite part of our stay was the epic dam to swim in during the day and search for Maron at night. A lovely place to stop and unwind for a few days. We woke up to Kangaroos in the paddock behind us each morning. There are also some awesome spots to explore near by like Berry Reserve. We highly recommend staying here.

We fell in love with the site as soon as we arrived. It was perfect for our girls camping trip and we had so much fun swimming in the water hole. 10/10 would camp again 🙏

Great Spot

Really good little site which you get all to yourself. Plenty of shade and the Dam is great for swimming in. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Peaceful, Swimming and Dog friendly

What a beautiful spot!! Our host was very welcoming and only a phone call away. This place is perfect to completely switch off, it had animals, a swimming dam with a jetty, waking up to the birds chirping in the big trees surrounding out camp-site and kangaroos in the paddock nearby. We have been to a lot of hipcamps and this is by far our favourite! We can't wait to come back and spent more days jumping off the jetty and exploring the beautiful surroundings. Perfect for families and dogs!

Such a beautiful spot to camp with views of a dam and being surrounded by trees. We had a great time camping here and we’ll definitely be back.
