Family owned property with five private acres, two for you to enjoy while camping with us. Enjoy the privacy that feels like a state park with no other guests! Contactless check in. We only rent to one group at a time so it is very private. Five minute drive to beaches and shops. The site has a fire pit with grill, small event tent in case of rain, giant jenga, garbage and recycling receptacles, and a port a potty. Plenty room for multiple vehicles and tents.

Gross Porta Potty was not paradise
I can't recommend this hip camp site as we had the same awful experience with the porta potty as the three previous reviewers, including one all the way back on July 4th. The site was secluded, the grass hadn't been mown in some time but we had room for our one tent. It was peaceful and an introvert's paradise, except that going #2 for us involved digging a cat hole or driving to the local grocery store. The porta potty was that bad. From now on I won't stay at a hip camp without messaging the site owner to confirm when they last cleaned their outhouse or porta potty. Gross.

The property was lovely. It is not far from the house but is hidden so you can't see the house. People on a different property were up all night partying and that noise was somewhat loud but that didn't bother us, just worth mentioning. The toilet was a bit far from the site which in this case really worked for us because while it wasn't full, it had not been cleaned in what seemed like a while. Whenever we used it, it kicked up the worst odor that clung to our clothes after walking out. We weren't able to have a fire due to a ban but if we could have, I'd say the trees near the pit (which looked awesome) could use some trimming away from the pit. We had a place to sleep while adventuring in the area and that is nice.

Nice little getaway
It was a nice campsite tucked into the trees on a property behind a house. The house is not visible while you are in your area and there is a field of grass to play in if you'd like. I loved that we were able to head straight to camp rather than meet and greet and the directions were straight forward. The worst part was the porta potty as it hadn't been cleaned out in awhile. It was full of stinky poop from past camping trips past the liquid. It was worse than a city porta potty. I no longer trust when someone says they have a toilet available on hipcamp because this toilet experience was so awful. From now on I think a 5 gallon bucket with a toilet seat on it would be better.

Loved the location and privacy the site offered. Super close to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The field provides a lot of parking space and the fire pit is terrific. Unfortunately there were a number of issues with the site that diminished our enjoyment. All of which I think are easily resolved. When we arrive the site was clearly not cleaned from the last guests. The garbage cans were overflowing and never cleaned during our stay. There was trash strewn throughout the fire pit area. The outhouse was a fair walk from the fire pit and hadn’t been cleaned recently. It was really smelly and covered in spider webs. The grass in the field was very long. Which made moving around harder. And when it rained on our last day everyone got soaked feet. In the picture it’s nicely trimmed. There is an old camper standing right on the path to the fire pit which is a real eye sore and makes moving in the dark difficult. It’s awesome having the covered area and the table was nice. But very unstable. A simple picnic table under the canopy would add a lot to the site. There is very little flat space on the field for tents. Mowed grass would have helped to find those spots. And a small amount of land scaling making a couple nice spots would go a long way. Given the price and our experience it felt a little expensive for what we got. But better upkeep and a few upgrades would make this an amazing camp site.

We enjoyed our stay here. The host had a big Jenga game for adults, axe throwing, and a cozy hammock for us to enjoy. The space was very private and the area super quiet.

Lovely space, neighborhood setting
This is a gorgeous property with a huge open view of the sky and dragonflies buzzing overhead. The hosts provide a nice level spot for your setup and we enjoyed using the games they provided. The drawback, which is completely outside control of the host, is that this is also in the middle of a neighborhood so you are subject to the noise of those around you. Our first night was very peaceful, but our second night was taken over by a large group waging a karaoke party until 5am.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Introvert's Paradise last weekend! Nestled on a beautiful field in the forest, the property is extremely quit and private! The farm fresh eggs from our hosts chickens were such a treat for breakfast the next morning! We would highly recommend staying here and will hopefully do so ourselves again sometime soon!

Comfortable and private spot! The host was very responsive and left some cooking stuff in case we needed it. Kids loved the giant jenga set.

Active family space
Very private space with lots of provided activities (giant jenga, open spaces for lawn games, corn hole) Wish the landscape was more level to make parking easier, it was very steep-hilly landscape which made it a bit tricky to park multiple vehicles levelly. There were two flatter spaces down below but further away from the central activity space. The porta-potty was clean and had amenities which was a plus. Good space for multiple families with kids to run around.

This was a lovely quiet spot tucked into the woods near a great little town! We watched the swallows fly in the evening and the bats when night time fell. There were wildflowers and stars too!

Really enjoyed our stay!
Introvert's Paradise was a great place to stay! Lot's of space to spread out for 2 families, and the location is really convenient for exploring beaches, getting to the store or visiting Langley. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add another firepit by the big open tent area in the field. Thanks for putting your property on Hipcamp! I recommend this spot.

Lovely stay! The property was beautiful and Amanda was very helpful and took great care of her place. The only bummer was some very early rooster noises.

Great Getaway!
Amanda‘s property was amazing! I wanted to get away from the city for a weekend and just relax in a quiet place. This spot was great. While I was there alone, I am definitely planning on heading back with my wife and some friends. The area is set up to house a few different tents, with a communal fire pit and a grate that swings over it. One thing to note: if you are looking for a very secluded place, you won’t be out in the woods alone here, but there are plenty of trees to separate the camping area from the buildings on the property. Also, I went for a run and stopped in at Earth Sanctuary, which is very close by and it was pretty incredible. I also chatted with the neighbors and they were very sweet people.

Has potential & access to shops
This camp has real potential and would be rated higher with a few improvements. Bonuses were the location to great wine tasting and unique meadery. The host left a s’mores kit and provided wood for the fire pit. We enjoyed the bucket pong game. Our stay would have been better if the entire meadow had been mowed. We arrived and only a strip near the fire pit had been mowed where they wanted us to park. We didn’t want to go into the tall grass so this so this limited our use of the property. The fire pit area has a strange camper shell parked on tree stumps right next to it leaving a narrow entry from the field. At night we told ghost stories about what might be inside the ever present camper as we sat around the fire. The table provided was homemade with pretty warped plywood and difficult to use. The tent site was next to a driveway and shed so not so private. We stayed in our RVs though. If you have an RV make sure to bring your leveling blocks! We were expecting more for the price we paid. This camp would be a great value for about half the price or with improved amenities.

Cozy and secluded with lots of space. Lots of activities on site or close. Clean outhouse. Beach is a 5 min drive or less. Would definitely book again.
