Hollyhock Farm is a diverse family farm on the hills of the Snoqualmie Valley. We raise a variety of animals using ethical methods that work with nature for the health of our farm and surrounding forest lands. We offer two campsites, as well as a tiny cabin. All of our listings have a toilet available for use, trash disposal on site, potable water, and campfires are permitted (outside of burn bans. Please note that pets are not permitted. We have created an additional 1/3 mile nature trail loop for campers to explore our forest. Blackberry picking in season! Those interested in the farm itself can contact the hosts for additional info. There is an old railroad grade walking/biking trail nearby that runs up and down the length of the Snoqualmie valley. The Snoqualmie river also offers boating, floating, and swimming opportunities. The town of Duvall is 5min away and has restaurants, shopping, and a micro brewery. Guests love staying with us: "I would give it 6 stars if I could! This stay was magical! A little oasis in the woods, just minutes from civilization :) Phil was an excellent host, the cabin was cozy and so cute, and I will 100% be coming back! I'd love to try out the bigger campsites sometime too! But the tiny cabin and cute little downtown Duvall might just be my new favorite getaway."

Amazing Campsite
I absolutely loved this campground, Phil’s directions were spot on at the end of the field turn right. I was the only genius to camp on thanksgiving so Phil let me pick any site, I ended up at site 1 since it was closer to the car. Site 1 was absolutely beautiful, the wooden Platform proved to be an amazing help as it rained my entire second day. I went on the nature trail and thought it was peace and a nice and easy walk. On my last day the fog had rolled in and made my campsite look angelic. Definitely worth coming back.

Yah, I was only there for a short stay so didn't explore much of the area. But I had a great time. Easy to navigate campgrounds. Phil was super helpful and quick to reply with any questions I had. There's a bike trail that takes you right into downtown Duvall which had a great bike and ski shop as well as some good bakeries

Hollyhock Farm Tiny Cabin
Can’t wait to visit again!
The tiny cabin was so cozy and the bed comfortable, and we loved the little wooden bench next to the fire ring. We arrived after dark and the trail to the cabin was well marked with a really nice sign making it easy to find. This cabin and site definitely had the “wow” factor and little details show that this place was made to be welcoming and comfortable. The compost toilet was very clean and sanitizer was provided too. Will definitely visit again!

Hollyhock Farm Forest Retreat #2
A nice, private spot surrounded by mossy trees, with a little stream trickling at the back. I had a great time. There's a little bit of distant neighborhood noise and traffic, and the board walk section of the path got a little slippery after the recent rain: be careful on those midnight jaunts to the bathroom. I'd go back, and would recommend this place to others.

Magical camping experience!
Would recommend this to anyone looking to be in nature. Very lush and well kept. They had a nice nature trail that allowed you to explore their piece of forest. The compost toilet and camp sites seemed to be very well maintained. Mister Kitty the cat who liked to lead us to our campsite and watch over the entrance was very kind and friendly. Lots of mushrooms to find! The campsites all seemed to be worth it and the more you pay the more you get. We went with campsite 2 and loved it. I would say that if you have a larger tent (4+) Id be a bit weary going with campsite 2 as our 3 person tent was a tighter fit. We would absolutely stay here again!

Mister Kitty! 😍
Beautiful site! It was exactly what we expected from other reviews here and truly perfect. Mister Kitty was an amazing host who made sure we got as many snuggles as we wanted and walked the nature trail with us!

Really great stay at Hollyhock Farm. A beautiful forest, really large tent platform and camping area, and super clean composting toilet- sooo much more pleasant than a portapotty. And the world’s sweetest cat.

We loved this campsite! Lots of great little touches. Composting toilet was in great condition. Trails were nice. A perk to have garbage disposal. Campsites were really well thought out. 45 minutes from Seattle and it made for a really fun overnight with the kids.

This place was perfect for my son and I. Easy access to the city and I wasn’t sure about that compost toilet when I booked, but it was so clean! Phil did a great job with this place. The cat was adorable! I would totally come back here again!

Thank you so much!
Wow, I’m so impressed with Phil’s campsite! I had a wonderful stay. The layout was clear and concise. The camps themselves were very well kept and I loved being able to have a fire. As solo female traveler I was a bit nervous to camp by myself but I felt very safe and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Last and most important, mister kitty was an incredible part of my stay. The nicest cat I ever did meet and I loved having him as a companion.

Perfect spot!
Wouldn’t change a thing! The tent sites were great, and I’m excited to return and try the tiny cabin next time. Loved the nature walk thru the woods and quiet surroundings. Fell asleep to owls and coyotes and awoke to woodpeckers and roosters. Thanks again Phil!

Great campsite
We stayed on campsite #1 for a night. It was our first time camping. The instructions there are clear. Phil is very nice and replied my message quickly. The tent pad is great for our 6 people large tent. The little trial is good for kid to explore. It was wonderful to spend night around the firepit. We all felt relax.

This is the cutest little cabin in the woods. Love the farm noises in the background as we woke up. I really admire the craftsmanship and creativity it took to build this, too!

Hollyhock Farm Forest Retreat #1
Nice campsite, it felt very private from the handful of other sites. It was all clean and ready when I got there. The tent platform was comfortable, although a little tricky if your tent needs pegs/tieoffs, so bring a little string/paracord if it does. There were very decent places to tie off around it I just my one person tent couldn't reach them. No wood for sale at the site so be sure to stock up elsewhere. Lovely woods to take a stroll around. The best bit though, the most friendly cat patrolling the woods that visited me multiple times over the evening.

Camp in the woods
We had a lovely stay at Phil's. We stayed at Campsite 1, with the very nice tent platform, and we were there for 5 nights. There were yummy blackberries to pick, the nature trail was great to send the kids off to explore (after I'd walked it first to check it out) and the kitty who's decided to be a forest cat / camp host was an absolute sweetie. Do bring mosquito repellent / lamps / candles whatever you find works best for you if you plan on spending time at the site outside, like dinner or roasting marshmallows whatever. They kind of ate us alive. Phil graciously provides mosquito bracelets and those help, but weren't quite enough to fend off the horde. Also if you want to use the wheelbarrow to load your gear in or out pull it behind you instead of pushing it in front of you. The wheel is a tad too small to clear the roots and bumps of the trail whilst going forward. We would definitely stay again!

Private and pretty quiet camping
We loved camping at Hollyhock Farm! We were at campsite #2 so it was a little hike from the parking lot, but that also meant it was private and secluded from the other sites. All of the sites were booked, but we hardly heard anyone else unless they were walking by on the nature trail. We want to come back and try out other sites at Hollyhock.

Hollyhock Farm Tiny Cabin
We absolutely loved the cabin at Hollyhock Farm. Such neat construction. While it was not ideal for the weather conditions (warm and buggy) we still enjoyed our time there. When we return we will stay at the RV/tent site. It has a picnic table, ample space for a tent (which would have provided better sleep as the tent walls/screens would have kept the mosquitos at bay), and you can drive right up to the site! The other campsites and the cabin are a few minutes' walk from the parking area UP to the sites. We loved the all-you-can-eat blackberries, the very beautiful forest trail with some huge trees and old growth stumps, slug friends, and especially camp-kitty who came to visit us multiple times during our stay. All things considered we had a great stay and a great time exploring a new-to-us area.

1st HipCamp success!
It was my first time using Hipcamp and we sure did luck out! Spot was great for me and my 8 year old. Stayed at campsite 2 which is less than a 5 min walk from the car. Was very quiet and private, composting toilet and complimentary bug spray by the parking space, McCormick park is less than a 10 minute drive if you want to go hang by the river, as is a Safeway and a handful of shops if you forgot anything. Phil’s communication was great throughout. Also there was a very sweet farm cat that we’d run into throughout our stay, which was an added delight. Looking forward to another visit!

This was a great place to avoid the city while heading to the airport after a two-week camping trip. We had our last taste of blackberries here, and enjoyed meeting the other campers. We arrived late at night and our navigation stopped working in the neighborhood - Phil was very friendly and helped us get back on track and find the camp easily.

Very private and secluded
My camp site (#2) was very private. It had a good level spot for my tent and fire pit area. The nature trail is an easy stroll through old growth woods. You’ll need to tote your water to the campsite, and for that matter all your camping gear. Make sure you bring your camping chairs and a collapsible table.
