Quiet sanctuary amongst the trees. Birds a-plenty and other wildlife. A dam adds beauty and a haven for the native ducks. Plenty of quiet spaces on the property. There is water available. Couples or families only. 1.5 kms from the railway station and V line service to Melbourne CBD (1 hour). 2 kms from Woodend township. 2 sites are available, 1 site with power and one without. Max of 4 people, 2 adults, 2 children, per site. Locally there are plenty of walking racks, wineries, and villages to explore. No dumping of toilet refuse.

Well worth a visit.
Sarah was a lovely host who provided a tidy and well maintained campsite, with excellent toilet facilities. Very gracious she was a presence for any enquiries but not imposing at all. The property is well positioned for touring the Macedon Ranges and nice and close to the township of Woodend for easy of collecting any forgotten items or a meal. An absolute highlight was sitting by the camp fire each evening and watching the quiet mob of kangaroos bound along, stopping to graze nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A peaceful site close to town
Sharon was a great host. The site is peaceful and we had a great time. Seeing kangaroos daily was a highlight! Close to town was good for us.

Beautifully located bush setting
Sharon is a great host. We loved the quiet bush setting, birds and wildlife. The location is perfect for visiting Woodend, hanging rock and the Mt Macedon area. The first Saturday in every month, the Woodend farmers market is well worth visiting, highly recommend. We will definitely be staying again.

I had a lovely stay at Sharon’s place. Sharon was friendly, welcoming and responsive to my queries before I arrived. It was a very quiet and relaxing location. I could see the neighbouring houses so not completely isolated but that wasn’t an issue for me. The toilet was nice and clean and only a short walk from my camp. Sharon had left a fire pit set up which was perfect.
