Perfect spot by the river
Such an absolutely wonderful spot! We enjoyed our stay here very much. We stayed in spot #3 and it was IT! Loved the quirky things we spotted around the property and also being so close to river. It was very peaceful being able to hear the water at night and in the mornings. It’s a perfect location if you’re going to Garner and/or Lost Maples. Morgan and Curtis are very kind, helpful, and Morgan is great with communication! Being offered firewood and having the bathrooms were added plus! We look forward to coming back in the summer for swimming as we would most certainly book here again :)

We had an absolute blast. We camped next to the river and was able to view all the beautiful fall scenery happening. Each site is provided a grill and a fire ring. Definitely be ready for no service and have all your maps downloaded for offline use. Town is also only about 15 mins away so you’re able to quickly grab firewood and any essentials you may have forgotten. Also, be aware that there is a road that runs slightly below the river on the way in. Our friend was able to drive through just fine but I am assuming that you may want to drive in with a higher car during the spring or whenever the rainy season is. Lost Maples annd Garner State are only anbout 30ish mins out as well. We’ll definitely be back!

Not an actual reservation
Site was nicely kept and the river access was great. Only gripe is they gave our reserved spot away and we had to camp by the toilets. There is no cell service so addressing the issue was out of anyone hands. I would call and get a verbal confirmation if you want a specific site. Campers said its a first come first serve so although management says different.

Awesome campsite! Great location, super well maintained, and very secluded. Amazing spot for anyone looking for easy access to the Frio, Garner State Park/Lost Maples, and the Twisted Sisters. Very easy to get around and super pretty. Be prepared for 0 cell service in the immediate area.

Loved camping on Morgan's Land. Host was very friendly and communicative. Camp site was a beautiful little spot on the Frio River with plenty of oak trees to provide shade . Quiet place, with the exception of the sound of the river and some loud music from another property near bye. Didn't mind the music though, as it only added a little extra ambiance to the beautiful view of the stars above.

Privacy paradise!
This camp site was beautiful! We stayed in campsite #4 and we were very impressed with the set up. The steps to the river were very sturdy and that made it easy to get to. The campsite had running water and the perfect amount of light. Our favorite part was relaxing at night and watching the never ending stars. We are already planning our next trip back. This is the perfect place for anybody looking for a very laid back getaway.

Directions were pretty easy.Our Host Greeted us, Very Cool guy. You will go offgrid loose signal.It was tucked away.The stars and Moon were amazing to see.There were porter pottys.,which were clean.There was burn ban in effect.However, we were allowed to make a small fire To enjoy s'mores, bbq-(quail-very tasty! Ty!). (With a hose nearby for emergency use only).There was no electricity,NO SHOWERS. either of the two were needed with the moon(light) out and the river running(bathe in a hole). Only downside here were the other campers that showed up at 2 am slamming doors and talking loud waking my family 🔊📢.I recommend gathering your family to rent out the whole area to enjoy.
I definitely will be going back and definitely recommend this slice of heaven.

I loved tent camping on Morgan's land. It was clean and camp site #3 had lots of tree cover. I liked the picnic tables, table and chairs and the pit was clean and new. My family had such a great time. It was perfect! I am definitely recommending this to my family and friends.

Spectacular view
I loved tent camping on Sarah's property.
Easy access to the river. They were very accommodating and friendly. Pet are allowed so that's a plus. The view of the river was fantastic, I got to do some fly fishing and managed to catch some fish. 100% would recommend my family and I plan to do a return visit.

The location is remote so there is no cell phone service of any kind I heard talks about them upgrading and getting Wi-Fi to the campsites / RV sites absolutely wonderful as well as a cleaning wash station there is water on-site to an extend you might have to walk to get to the spicket nothing crazy access to the river was absolutely wonderful it is quite enchanting and if you have the chance to get over to this location it's well worth the time.

Great campsite! Morgan was very helpful and provided us ample amounts of set up and breakdown time! Beautiful spot steps away from the water! (Hearing the water at night was amazing) There we’re also plenty of amenities including very clean bathrooms, lights with electrical ports, a grill, tables with chairs and waste disposal areas. Would definitely return again!

Peaceful spot by the Frio
Beautiful spot! It was quiet, remote, and so peaceful. The river right there made for amazing scenery and a really nice white noise as we slept. Stars galore as it’s so remote. Morgan’s father met us there and was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend this spot.

Beautiful spot
This was a great spot with easy access to the River. I went with my two toddlers who had the best time rubbing around the field and splashing in the water. It was very quiet at night with great stars. We will definitely be returning!

Enjoyed our stay!
Booked for 3 nights for a RV site.. 2 nights we had it all to ourselves .. the experience was serene and pristine especially with the river sounds… really enjoyed our stay! Great host and proactive communication back and forth …

Calm getaway camping site
Calm- the sound of running water in the background helped with swiftly falling asleep at night and brought a sense of calm to every morning.
View- nice swimming hole, lots of shallow areas for families with young children to play in and to relax, as well as sunbathe. The night sky is breathtaking and perfect for individuals who love stargazing; you can see the whole milky way out there easily.
It’s a new spot with a very kind and attentive host. The site is well-kept and they are working on upgrades for the site as well.
