Lakefront Paradise Tent Site
Not for tents or kayaks
Cool little spot. Would probably be more for rv or camper. No lake access as far a beach or being able to get a kayak or canoe in water.
Con:
Lots and lots of trash. Unfortunately, this was quite a bummer. Broken glass all about, a bog near the toilet and shower. Toilet was swarmed with orb weavers(would've been nice for mgmt to clean up).
Pros:
Pretty quiet, although it's not absolutely private as there are trails between campsite and lake that allow cyclists to go right through.

Lakefront Paradise Tent Site
We had a wonderful time tent camping at Debbi’s lakeside paradise. Communication was excellent and everything was as advertised. The site felt very secluded, with lots of trees for privacy separating the neighboring properties. The site was well maintained and very clean. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves and the bull frogs.

Stunning views
This campsite was beautiful! It was very private, safe and spacious. The reservoir/lake was just beautiful. The “beach” with the sharp drop offs reminds me of some beaches in California.
Debbi was very responsive and helpful with directions! We can’t wait to come back!

Lakefront Paradise Tent Site
This place was great. Debbie sent us the combo to lock to get in driveway the night before. Private with a very short walk to the lake. Site had everything we needed. Fire pit, table, portapotty, small concrete pad, shower, water. Porta-potty was clean and so was shower area. Sunset over the lake was beautiful. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area

Lakefront Paradise RV site
Prefect Private Hideaway.
We really enjoyed this RV spot. We stayed for 6 nights and dreaded packing up to leave today. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing, all around beautiful views! We loved being within walking distance to the lake and loved how peaceful it was. I would recommend hitting the grocery for your needs before arriving. Because you’re not gonna wanna leave, when you get there. We will definitely stay here again if it’s available when we are visiting the area.

I love staying at Debbi’s Lakefront Paradise Tent site. The portable potty is very clean and convenient. The views at sunset are amazing and relaxing. I love that she has an outlet post for electricity I felt safer being able to keep my phone charged. Please visit at some point and enjoy a relaxing camping trip with beautiful views.

Lakefront Paradise Tent Site
Debbi's land was a very nice getaway. I went twice actually. I will be back. We loved how secluded it is and yet there are still houses near by in the event of an emergency. The lake was not far from the site but you cannot fish from the actual site, you'd have to cross over the bar barrier and walk down.

Scenic spot overlooking the lake
This Hipcamp is very special and unique! We loved staying here--beautiful piece of land, lovely sunsets, established gathering ares (fire pit with seating, tables...) BBQ grill, very scenic spot overlooking the lake. There's also access to the lake and a nice beach. The electricity worked well.

Stunning Sunsets on the Lake
Beautiful lake view. Tons of privacy. Debbi made sure everything is secure and safe. Water, electric and sewer hook-ups are available. The Super Clean Port a Potty and refreshing outdoor shower was a plus.
It was 100+ everyday we were there ( who knew a heat wave was coming when we booked this 5 months again). Always a breeze to keep it a little cooler and the lake was there to jump is and cool off.
Our dogs loved the lake. We took them swimming several times a day.

Gorgeous secluded property
Absolutely gorgeous and unique piece of land! Loved the close access to the little beaches, the private and secluded nature of the area, and all the thoughtful little touches like the perfectly clean and stocked port-a-potty, the outdoor shower, garbage can with bag, bird feeder, tables, chairs, grill, firepit, firewood, everything we could possibly want! We met Debbie and her husband on the way out and they were so lovely!

A very nice little spot
This is a great spot, with close access to the lake, a clean porta-potty and nice outdoor shower. There are full hook-ups for RV, but the sewer is on the wrong side of the pad (which is not level... bring leveling chocks), and difficult to hook up to without 40 or so feet of hose, and then, the hose would run through the social area. The lot adjacent has standing water and is a breeding ground for mosquitos and other sorts of insects. We will definitely try to stay again, but in cooler months with fewer insects!

I love this spot. Its the perfect camping spot around. Close to the lake. Love watching the sunset in the evening and then sitting around the fire pit. If you love to camp, but also dont mind a nice shower and a toilet, then look no further. This spot has it all. Debbi is and amazing hostess. I will be back over and over again.

The Sweet Spot
This is an absolute dream spot for a nice getaway. What more can you ask for. Gorgeous views, woods to water, nature all around you, and peaceful serenity.
Yes, the concrete slab is not as level BUT it is doable, just bring some levelers with you or there are some bricks lying around to help with leveling. However, if you ask Debbi the history of that slab you really would not care too much that it isn't all that level.
We managed to get our 34' bumper pull in there will little effort. You just need to be mindful of where the electrical and the water are so they don't get run over ;-) There is plenty of room for slideouts on each side as well.
Bring your volleyball net, your bocce ball game, yard dice, there is so much grassy space to run around in. It is a short jaunt over the fence down to the beach to the water. You spend time in the water or along the beach area or the grassy space along the shore or if you are lucky you can find ripe blackberries along the brush line and have a little treat.
If you have the right vantage point you can sit and enjoy watching the cardinals swoop down and battle each other for seeds at the bird feeder or catch the occasional roadrunner dart across into the brush behind the camping area. You definitely will not be bored.
Keep in mind, you won't always have privacy. Because the property between the water and Debbi's land is government-owned, people will come to swim, fish, hike, and ATV. Don't let that stop you, it is worth going!

Great privacy. Great host!
This site is great! Wonderful privacy, plenty of room for a family, a few friends. It's surprisingly close to north Dallas area, but you feel away from it all. I highly recommend this as a weekend getaway for a small group or family. Again, the privacy is a big plus. You're not sharing with other campers 50ft away, like a state park.
Debbi is wonderful to work with, very friendly! She communicates well and timely with anything you need. I've been here twice, and will definitely come back.

Beautiful private camp w/amenities
The campsite was clean, free of trash. The portable potty was brand new, with a basket of supplies including toilet paper and hand soap. There was a camping shower as well, but we didn’t use it. The campsite includes power, waste, and water hookup, and a concrete pad for a camper. Also on site were three wooden chairs around a campfire ring as well as a round table. There was a short trail to the water front and the sunset was stunning! Great spot for fishing or just relaxing and listening to the water roll in. I loved that it was private, just my family. We stayed in a tent and the soil was good for staking. We plan to return!

The good and the not-so-good
Debbi was very responsive!
She allowed to stay past check- out time when we had some bad weather
The lake views were wonderful
The site was quite private
The site has the best fire pit ever, complete with Adirondack chairs
Lots of open area
The porta-potty smelled almost good!
The grass was cut

Getting from the site to the lake requires a hop over a low fence. There is barbed wire in sections of this that is laying on the ground— seems dangerous, especially for children.
The site is adjacent to a construction site that seemed abandoned, with standing water in it. Could be dangerous for children
The area between the fence and the lake seems to be public and folks walking along startled us because we didn’t expect them, so be aware of that
There were dog feces that we cleaned up to pitch our tent
There is a nice picnic table but no chairs for it
The shower didn’t seem to work, but maybe we didn’t understand it.
The book that gives directions, etc, was water logged and full of spider webs — it needs to be replaced
There were wasps in the portable potty resulting in multiple stings (5) to one person
