Bravo to Bruno
Bruno is very hospitable and kind and hands off. He will be as interactive, involved and fun as you want him to be, or you can have complete privacy and space. He knows his land and he enjoys people and community. Bravo to Bruno for having such a great place. We're already looking forward to going again.

Great spot and awesome host
Bruno was an amazing host! This was the first time a hipcamp host went out of their way to really accommodate us and our two dogs (that have unique personalities and like their space) - even though we were only there for one night. The site was clean and had a fire pit, table, box of games, and wood clippers. Everything you’d need for a great night camping. There were cows that came right up to the fence and hung out for a bit, so that was fun. We stayed New Years Eve and got to see some fireworks too. Overall, a great place to get out and spend some time in nature. Would recommend and look forward to coming back!

Tent Camping under the Stars
If you’re looking to just go and relax for the weekend, it’s a great place. They provide games, fire pit, and a picnic table. We were fortunate enough to use the wood they already cut but it was just enough to get us through the night 6pm to midnight, so I’d recommend you bring your own wood. Not much to do at all but as I said, if you want to just relax and sit around the fire with no one to bother you, this is your place

Perfect for our Needs
Needed a 3 night tent camping spot and all the “usual” state parks, etc., were booked. This place turned out to be an excellent alternative for us (motorcycle camping). Bruno was a great hos! He met us upon arrival and showed us our best bets for dispersed camping. We camped at the very private and quiet spot, furthest from the chicken farm. Had a great time and the firewood was plentuful.

Tent Camping under the Stars
A nice spot, but...
I checked in with Bruno and he was awesome. He was a spectacular host and I am only writing this review to help others have some insight before booking. There is a very loud chicken farm right next to this listing and it is not ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful secluded place. I could not see the chicken farm, or any other campsites, but the noise was so loud that I was not able to get everything unloaded before throwing in the towel and going home.
I really hate to write this review because Bruno is one of the best hosts I have encountered, and he has done a substantial amount of work to the place. I could tell that he genuinely wanted people to have a good time, and I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

Tent Camping under the Stars
Tent camping in the wild was a nice getaway as so much was already booked during spring break. The hosts were pleasant, communication was fantastic, and the area was pretty private.
The only downside was that the property was a bit sandy and it irritated my allergies - small issue, just good to be ready for. I might suggest to the owners to mark the parking area and campsites to be clearer, but again that's minor.
Our site was PEFECT for spending the days in the hammock! The picnic table, fire ring (not at all sites I believe), and firewood were nice to have and the surprise solar-lit tree was a nice touch! The grounds were clean and free of trash too. I recommend it! Thanks Bruno!

A great place to stay! Bruno was extremely helpful and curated a nice little getaway not far from the city. The site was tidy, mostly secluded, and included a bench, fire ring, games (!!), and plenty of space for our tent. The site was a small walk in which is helpful to note while packing for your trip.

Been here several times and always a nice night next to the fire under the stars. Haven’t tried all the sites but the one right behind the property is perfect for introducing young kids or dogs to camping. Exactly as advertised. Camping under the stars.

Tent Camping under the Stars
Fantastic Stay
Loved our time here! This was our first HipCamp experience; though we're avid campers, we usually stay at state parks. We were a group of 10, and we were all very impressed at everything Bruno did to help us have a comfortable stay. Some great perks:
-Outhouse was clean and stocked with TP. It was actually cleaned out during our stay, which was really nice!
-Outdoor lights were pretty and helped us walk between sites/to the outhouse at night
-Water available by the outhouse for potable use and closer to the sites for non-potable use
-Box with games provided
-Firewood, fire pit, and cutters provided at each site
-Picnic table provided at most (if not all) sites
-Bruno was very accommodating and answered our numerous questions before the stay - he was a perfect host! We appreciated the quick tour he provided upon arrival and the privacy provided afterwards.
Sites 1 and 2 were our favorites; Site 2 provided the most privacy. Site 3 was a little close to a neighbor's roosters, though that's not something Bruno could control.
It is worth noting that the sites and the driveway are very sandy - we didn't have any trouble, but you might want to plan accordingly with footwear and vehicles.

Tent Camping under the Stars
This place was great. I needed something close to Austin to get away for the weekend with my dogs and this place checked all the boxes. Bruno was super responsive to questions I had before the trip and he met us at the gate to give us a quick tour upon arrival. We were at site 2 which has a perfect spot for my buddy’s tent, lots of good hammock hanging trees, and I was able to back my truck in close enough to be where I wanted to be (my tent sits in the bed). Bruno had built up a bunch of trimmings in the nice metal fire pit which was appreciated and the big sturdy picnic table was perfect. We had our own but he even left a box full of games out for us in case we needed something to do. Would recommend, we’ll definitely be back.

Bruno was an amazing host. Above expectations. He have a social distanced tour of the site, had the fire pit ready, had a box of games for us and even came to the rescue with a length of rope we were able to borrow.
The site was beautiful and maintained. It was a perfect night.

Very nice spot. Not as secluded as we hoped. Bruno keeps area neat, clean, and ready for use. Overall area (surrounding people and neighbors) gets quiet around midnight. Area is very much shaded from sun which is great. We did not wander the property although he very much welcomed us to the opportunity. In the end it was a nice quick family getaway. Excellent spot if need a fast overnight place to crash especially when Austin gets back to its concert days.

Bruno was extremely helpful and responsive before and during our trip. My boyfriend and I did a weekend trip from Houston and drove into Austin for daytime activities. The location was perfect for us because it shortened our commute directly to and from Houston so we were able to arrive just before it got dark after work. The drive to Austin was not bad at all either ~45min! This was our first hipcamp experience and we stumbled across it because all national/state park camping near Austin was booked. We ended up picking campsite #2, which was the most private site. Upon arrival I would say that I was expecting the campsites to have a bit more privacy, but I have to admit that while we could see a neighbors house in the distance, once we were at our site it felt like our own little oasis. Bruno does a great job keeping the outhouse and outdoor shower clean and inviting. I would definitely recommend to anyone who has a similar plan to ours, very nice spot!

Lovely camping trip
Bruno was awesome!!! He gave a nice tour of his three campsites. We stayed at the first one that had a nice platform. Bruno had a pile of firewood stacked neatly between two trees😊. The shower was amazing, especially on hot days. We really enjoyed our little camping trip. It was beautiful, private, and peaceful. Thank you Bruno for your hospitality. We recommend this lovely place!!

Amazing camping spot
Bruno was awesome!! He gave us a tour when we arrived of each camp site. He had firewood neat placed between two trees. The shower was amazing, especially on hot days. Quiet and beautiful. We loved it so much we booked an extra night!! I can’t say enough about the warm welcome and hospitality. Thank you so much Bruno for a lovely camping experience😁

Bruno met us right when we entered the property. He immediately showed us around and we were able to choose from the available camp sites. He was very friendly and the property had everything you would want from primitive camping. There was water and a shower and toilet as well which is really nice when it's so hot outside.

Private and Peaceful!
We had a great time here! The location is beautiful and secluded. My boyfriend & I set up our tent on an elevated deck that was in our campsite. We stayed for two nights, and there was more than enough firewood provided for us for our stay. There is an outhouse and outdoor shower, just bring your own soap. Our dog was having fun running around too. Will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our short camping adventure here! Bruno was very accommodating, and the space was well cleared and beautiful. The outhouse was convenient and clean, and the area provided plenty of privacy. Tip for future campers is that there is no walled fire pit so plan to cook directly on your campfire (worked fine for us), and 2 of the sites don't have a table if you want to pack in a folding table.

Place was easy to find and the site we camped at was private. Tent camped with a fire. Very nice property with friendly neighbors.
