Lovely private setting close to water and option to hire kayaks which was very pleasant with right tide and weather . Stars on a clear night are an absolute stunner .

A beautiful riverside camp-site, with a serene and immaculate environment. Cannot recommend this stay enough, as the kind owners are the cherry on top! We also got a wheelbarrow of wood and found it incredibly good value. Plenty of good burning wood.

We enjoyed camping at Farm on Franklin. Sarah's directions were spot on which made it easy to find. Access to theatre for kayaking was good. Being an estuary, it's better to kayak over the high tide. All in all, a great place to camp.

Quiet and a good place to relax
Was hard to get level from left to right/ right to left, used chocks but was a struggle with our 22ft van. Good road in, nice and quiet and Sarah, even though sick with Covid, was very helpful and friendly.

Really nice peaceful place to camp.
Loved our private spot surrounded by trees and bush with a view overlooking the water.
Sarah was a great host, very friendly and welcoming.
Really loved that there are kayaks available, we gave those a miss this time because of the weather but hopefully next time! ☺️
We would definitely stay again.

Had a great time at Farm on Franklin, Sarah was an excellent host and my two boys loved meeting her kids Guinea pigs and rabbit! Beautiful place to kayak and fish although we didn’t catch any in the week we were there! Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Thank you Sarah and family, we had a wonderful stay on your beautiful property. An off - grid bush Christmas was just what we wanted! We loved the birdlife and the serenity and the kids loved kayaking on the river and making new friends. Thanks again.

An excellent spot to spend a few days in the caravan. Very peaceful with the rivulet in front of you. A bit of bird life about as well as fishing for those keen. Sarah and her children were lovely and very respectful, checking in each day to make sure we had all we needed. Would highly recommend for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. Must be self contained.

Had a lovely long weekend at Sarah's she is very helpful and friendly. Nice and relaxing lots of bird life we camped right on the river lovely outlook. Bit of a dirt track to get there but it was ok, we will be back.

Great spot right by the river!
We recently stayed at Farm on Franklin whilst travelling Tasmania. Sarah was an amazing host during our stay providing us with ideas of places to visit in town as well as tips on fishing in the river. (We caught 2 good sized Bream and enjoyed them for dinner).
Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay whilst giving us plenty of privacy.

Quiet bush camping on the river!
A lovely camp site to enjoy open areas of bush right next to the river. Beautiful views and fantastic experiences with kittens and a cute lamb for the kids. Sarah was a terrific host. Would highly recommend this bang for buck Hipcamp site!
