East Gate Farm is a 110 acre farm on the Atlantic marsh in the tiny coastal town of Meggett, South Carolina. 30 minutes from Downtown Charleston. Because of Covid and lockdowns I opened Airbnb’s and Hipcamping on the farm so people can social distance easily, enjoy nature freely and feel human again. There are 32 sweet horses. 4 donkeys. 5 goats. 1 black Cech shepherd. 12 barn cats that are friendly and roam. Chickens, roosters. And a pet deer named Rachel who wears an orange safety collar. This is an immersive animal and farm stay experience. Free and unlimited interaction with all the animals on the farm. This is a nature and outdoors experience- Canadian Geese, Wild Turkeys, Turkey vultures, Owls, Hawks etc... the flat 110 acres is yours to explore.
