Away from everything, close to most things. Our 6.5 acre property has an abundance of beautiful flora & fauna along with lots of wildlife and birds. It is the perfect destination to forget life's worries and relax in a beautiful natural environment. We are happy for you to enjoy riding push bikes on the property and to enjoy music around your campsite. Bring your kids, dogs, push bikes, or even a canoe and get back to nature! Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided and there is plenty of firewood available. Please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a fire. There is a basic camp kitchen, toilet's, camp shower and a bar setup down near the dam for your use, complete with lights, weber BBQ, microwave, 2 hot plates, a toaster, sandwich press and fridge/freezer. You can also hire out the entire property just for your group or special occasion - please see entire property listing. We also have a mini camp shop on site that's also stocked with the hire items you will notice in the extras section(on the hipcamp app) and there are also many more items you may forget like frozen bread, milk and even ice also including but not limited to (depending on availability) - * Barista made coffees (by prior booking) * Ham & Cheese croissants (by prior booking) * Chopped Fire wood (Delivered to your camp) * Smoker Rental * Solar Panel Rental * Water Drum Rental * Camp toilet Rental *Generator Hire *Table Hire *Battery Hire *12v Fridge/freezer hire If you are requiring any of the above you can pay us in cash or you can check out these most of these options on the hipcamp app or give us a call or text to arrange. There is power down at the dam and please take your rubbish with you on departure and clean up after yourselves. Although most of all we want you to have a great time! We are 10 minutes from Gympie, 2 hours from Brisbane and an hour to the Sunshine Coast or Hervey Bay.

What a wonderful camp site. Callan and his team are on to you every need. In just 3 years Callen has created a little paradise, a huge effort. Super friendly hosts and Doug is a champion caretaker. Well done guys.

We loved our stay here. The hosts were amazing and were so lovely to deal with. Thank you Callan and Doug. The kids had so much fun playing in the dam, even the adults. We hired the bikes and the movie night. We would definitely be coming back here. Perfect for families and it’s not far from home.

My partner and I loved spending the weekend here, it was easy to book and they were really accomodating with us arriving late. Both nights we spent there we had perfect hospitality from the groundskeeper and the views/activities there were wonderful. I would recommend this place and will definitely be going back!

10/10 - A must do for families!

This would have to be one of the best, if not the best bush camps we have done. What an amazing spot if you've got kids! The Hosts and caretaker are both super friendly, very helpful. The location is so close to town but feels so far away and the property it self is perfectly curated as a family orientated get away. The dam (which is a sand dam, not mud) is beautiful to swim in, kids have heaps to do with the provided kayaks, tubes, boogie boards etc... The camp kitchen that over looks the dam is wonderfully equipped. The portaloos never had any smell, and if you went in and someone had left a mess or the floor was a bit dirty just from campers feet, the next time you went it seemed they had been cleaned! We travelled with our 3.5 year old and he had a great time - Plenty of kids to play with, and plenty of things to do. This place is really a 10/10 for me - We are already looking to book our next get away there soon! Thanks again to Doug & Callum (and his family) for hosting!

From the moment we drove onto the property we were relaxed. Callum, the owner met us at the gate and ran us through things. From the immaculate grounds, to the camp kitchen and not to mention the cleanest bathroom facilities (porta loo and a shower shed). The camp site is well spaced so we had our own little pocket of privacy up the back. We will definitely be back for more wine around the dam, more relaxing by the campfire and more adventures shortly. And our kids can't wait to visit with us as we're very jealous by the videos we sent them :)

Between the playground, the dam and the numerous animals, there was lots of things for the kids to do so the parents could relax. I don't think I heard "I'm bored" once for the whole 3 days we were there, and considering we had 12 kids with us, that's a pretty great achivement in itself! Owners and grounds keeper were absolutely lovely and happy to stop and have a chat. Toilets were cleaned regularly which was a highlight for me ( no one likes a stinky porter loo) and they were clean smelling mostly. We had a great time and would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Hired out the entire campsite for my husbands 50th birthday. Callan & Leah were great in the event preparation correspondence and even cooked and served pizzas for everyone. Great deal, so we didn't have to cook. Having the entire place to ourselves made for such a comfortable atmosphere with all the kids playing in the water until late into the evening. Amazing hosts and great facilities, created a unique experience, one we will cherish forever. Thanks so much Hidden Camp team!

I couldn’t rate this place highly enough. From the minute we arrived Callan meet us at the gate and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Doug, the care taker, made sure we had everything we needed from firewood to ice. Both Callan and Doug were non stop ensuring all campers were well looked after! Even if you leave something behind - these guys are always on hand with a solution to fix any problem. If you’re looking for a quiet little farm stay that’s super family friendly this is the place to go. Already looking forward to our next trip away.

Great camp spot

We stayed in one of the powered sites. On arrival we were greeted by caretaker Doug, who was very friendly, answered any questions we had and also showed us to our site and to where we could find the amenities. Our stay was very pleasant, the kids had loads of fun in the dam as did our dog. The communal kitchen had everything needed. Fire pits were of plenty around the camp sites and wood available for purchase. Amenities were clean and well maintained. Coffees made and delivered to us tasted great. We will definitely be returning! Thanks for a great camping experience!

Great little escape, close to Gympi

Callan was a great host and Doug was a very welcoming on arrival. The grounds were clear and so were the facilities available. It's close enough to zip back into Gympie for supplies if needed. I loved the sunrises and all the fairy lights lighting the pathway and camp kitchen area. Will definitely be back and will bring the kids next time.

Great camp with lots of chickens ducks, geese and a few turkeys around also lots of bird life. Open places with patches of shade and sun for solar. Dam was appreciated on a hot day. Whole area clean and well presented. Great camp kitchen. Great place to book for a party weekend.
