Aurorita Campsite is a flat grassy space on the Greenville-sur-la-rouge mountains and in and 5 minutes walk away of the Wilson Lagoon, perfect for hiking, biking, swimming and fishing. Guests will enjoy 2 acre to themselves, but please note there may be another group visible 500 feet up the mountain. Guests will have access to communal composting toilets, Fireplace, a hammock, and camping table and chairs. There are no hookups at this site, but potable water is available at the communal area.

Great Host, beautiful lake, comfy.

4/5 Camping with Christian was really comfy. He provided us with a large tent big enough to sleep 6 people and à gas bbq. Not to mention, there is a pool! Alongside this, there is wifi, which was nice since there is no reception in the area. Although accessing the lake was a little bit confusing. We ended up knocking on a water front property’s home in order to access the lake from their yard, the man was cool with it and we got to enjoy the beautiful scenery. All and all, the campsite wasn’t what we expected but it had everything. One unfortunate incident did happen in the morning. We got woken up by some angry construction workers early in the morning which was a little startling. The spot isn’t super isolated as there are 2 chalets around 250 m away from the site. But other then that I would recommend this spot. Super nice getaway from the big city.
