Welcome to our farm! He're a 1 hour away from Montréal, 45 min from Ontario border and about 20 min from the US border. The campground is Located on 153 acres of land. The Domaine de la Templerie is first and foremost a Table champêtre (farm to table). To have a rustic table, a good majority of the products served in the restaurant must come from the farm. This is why you will find on site a farm with wild boars, geese, ducks, guinea fowl, pheasants, capons, turkeys and many other animals! We transform our product at the farm and sell them at the farm too. We also have a soccer field, volleyball court and horseshoe pit. * Version française * Bienvenue à notre ferme! Nous sommes à environ 1h de Montréal, 45 min de la frontière Ontarienne et 20 min de la frontière des US. Situé sur un terrain de 153 acres, le Domaine de la templerie est en premier lieu, une table champêtre. Pour avoir une table champêtre, une bonne majorité des produits servis au restaurant doit provenir de la ferme. C'est pourquoi vous allez retrouver sur place une ferme avec des sangliers, des oies, des canards, des pintades, des faisans, des chapons, des dindes et plusieurs autres animaux! Nous transformons nos produits à la ferme et les vendons aussi à la ferme. Nous avons aussi un terrain de soccer, un terrain de volleyball et un jeu de fer.

We had a great time camping on Cynthia’s land! She was very accommodating and kind. Electricity, water and firewood was available at the site. Although we loved the campsite, we were a party of 5 and each site is narrow with the next site right beside, thankfully there were no other campers in the site next to us because we wouldn’t have had enough space if there were. For a party of 2, or maybe even 4, the spot would be perfect! Or if you were fortunate like us to have an empty site beside yours. There were, however, other campers 2 lots over and they were playing music, as were we, and we didn’t interfere with each other. That is to say, noise traveling is not an issue and campers can be comfortable in their site without bothering others. Thank you for having us, we would definitely come back!

Very nice site. I was a Sunday night I was there so there was only one other camper. I think if it was full it would have felt too crowded but my experience was very quiet and relaxing. Site was surrounded by beautiful trees and fields and it was the perfect time to see all the fall leaves.

Wonderful spot to stay for the night or even a few days. Power and water were nice to have. Good supply of firewood and nice sites. Next time we will be sure to book in for dinner. We loved the peace and quiet. Cynthia was very responsive and helpful.

It's a nice site with lots of trees around. The site is narrow & long. Campsites are close to each other & people can see all other campsites. Firewood is free. We also ate at the restaurant there, Domaine de la Templerie. It's a farm to table restaurant & we enjoyed seven delicious courses. Loved our stay there.

The campsite was nice, the free firewood was dry, which made it very easy to light a fire. The farm was cute, with horses, geese, ducks, and boar. However, the highlight was the meal we ordered. Because of my physical limitations and our dog, they delivered a full seven course meal to our campground over the course of about 2 1/2 hours. It was delicious. The combination of a meal at the campground with our fire was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended to anyone!

Quiet rural spot. The 19th-century farmhouse and farm animals (including wild boar) and long tree-lined avenue make it much more interesting than the average campground. No showers but that was explained clearly before booking.

Cynthia and her family have a lovely farm with many types of animals. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and happy to be of assistance. I was encouraged to take from the stacks of firewood and it was nice to have that experience as the fireflies danced in the woods.

We had the whole camp site to ourselves. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and especially loved the restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and really interesting. It was a great experience. Cynthia and her family were charming and very welcoming. We enjoyed the fireflies i the evening and the squirrels and the farm.

The directions to her place were clear, nice little farm in the back as well! Horses, pigs, ducks… There’s also an indoor bathroom which was great in our case as it rained a loooot! We were able to warm up inside for a few minutes:) Bathroom is a 2 minutes walk from the campsite. When booking, I thought we would have a lot more privacy than this so I was a little surprised when we arrived. We had to leave early because it rained too much for our tents but our dog had a lot of fun meeting the animals haha!

We are return campers and we will be back next season. Hard to beat amenities - access to water and electricity without being attached to someone’s house or sitting in a driveway! Great views over the farmer fields and surrounded by natures colors. Perfect quiet thanksgivings weekend.

Thank you for hosting us, we had a quiet night and one of the best campfires of the season. We met two horses (one could be a donkey), the smaller horse first was happy for me to rub it's forehead, then walked 15' to the other corner so my spouse could do the same, it pushes up against the fence until the affectionate rub could get started. The host met us on arrival and everything was ready for us.

The camp area was easy to find with GPS. I am a non- French speaker. What wasn’t so easy to navigate was where the bathroom area is. We had to travel up the road to the farm, then try to find someone to tell us where to use facilities. A pit toilet IN the camp area would be helpful. The sites are deep and narrow. For us it was a place to sleep for a night. The town is a lovely, beautiful area. I wouldn’t say this is negative- just not quite what we expected.

I really enjoyed the camp site, everything was provided there and Madam Sara, says her welcome 30min after our arrival and described everything. The location was straight. The camp sites was really near to each others but not all of them reserved, the water, electricity, wood and tables create an easy camping for my husband and me, as first time experience

Easy pull throughout site with lovely scenery. Firepit, electricity and water available- a real luxury for such an isolated location. Situated On a farm to table domain. Our dogs also enjoyed the large wooded site.

Domaine de la Templerie was perfect for our first camping experience. Everything was there as noted on the site. Both Cynthia and her husband dropped by when we arrived to ensure we were settling in ok. We just purchased new electric bicycles and were able to ride on the country roads that were not too busy. We will definitely go back and plan a bit earlier so we can reserve and take advantage of the farm to table meals!

Great spot! Not necessarily for the camping, but for the farm stay / farm to table experience. We couldn't get our ducks in order in time to reserve a spot at the Farm to Table restaurant, and after getting a glimpse of the dinner vibes (aka a great time!) we will have to come back. I felt like I was in the Alps at a Hutte - same atmosphere 👌. Cynthia was amazingly accommodating and made us feel right at home. She even warned us that our sites electrical wasn't working and moved us to a new site in advance of our arrival. Since the alternative site had 30 amp service, she brought us an adapter so we could charge our EV. The only thing I’ll note is that it’s a tad awkward heading into the main dining area in your jammies to brush your teeth and wash your face before bed, but the guests didn't seem to notice since they were having such a great time.

We camped here for 3 days. It’s a quiet place. Toilet and bathroom were very neat. Hosts were kind and welcoming. There are many groceries stores within 10 mins and even Tim is less than 10 mins drive. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Tap water and electricity is just in the site.
