(English to Follow) Cette maison d'hôtes créée avec amour intègre la face de Cliff Rock dans sa conception. Réparti sur deux étages, vous êtes à deux pas du Lac et de la Forêt. L'escalade, la randonnée, la pêche, la natation ou la cueillette de baies sauvages sont toutes possibles dans cette réserve naturelle privée. Baigné de lumière toute la journée et fascinant au clair de lune, votre séjour ici sera vraiment une expérience éclairante. Détendez-vous sur le porche du lac (avant) ou le porche de la forêt (arrière). Contrairement aux camps Cliff, Rockface a ses propres toilettes portables, l'eau du robinet et un évier, et même s'il n'y a pas de prises électriques, il y a de la lumière électrique. Vous avez également accès à la baignade dans le 1er lac. Si loué en conjonction avec la cabane en rondins, vous aurez la cuisine de la cabane en rondins à utiliser. S'il est loué seul, vous aurez accès à la cuisine Camps qui se trouve à une courte distance de votre porte arrière. Spread over two floors, you are steps away from the Lake and the Forest. Rock climbing, Hiking, Fishing, Swimming or Wildberry Picking are all possible in this private nature reserve. Basked in Light all day and mesmerizing in the Moonlight, your stay here will truly be an illuminating experience. Lounge around on the Lake porch (front) or the Forest porch (Back). Unlike the Cliff camps, Rockface has its own portable toilet, tap water and a sink, and while it doesn't have Electrical outlets, there is Electrical Light. You also have access to swim in the 1st lake. If rented in conjunction with the Log Cabin, you will have the Log Cabin Kitchen to utilize. If rented on its own, you will have access to the Camps Kitchen which is a short distance from your back door. Quiet and Private Site.

Matthew was very welcoming and a great host. The site was a nice and private spot tucked away in the wood beside a stream. The tent pad at the site was a great way to get off the ground during fall camping. Also the quality and quantity of firewood Matthew has for sale is much better than what's available at the local gas stations. The walk to the site from the parking area is also very manageable.

It was fantastic! A great way to disconnect for everything and just have some peace and « me » time! Hiking was great, beautiful and scenic I was there in September and the colours were amazing! Matthew was a great host!

I had a wonderful experience camping at this site! The host was welcoming, and his son gave us a lovely tour of the property, showing us the docks and the swimming spots. The campsite itself was a short walk from the parking area, so we had to carry our gear, but it was manageable, and we would just pack a bit differently next time. To go swimming, we needed to take the vehicle, which was no issue. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with very friendly hosts!

The spot was great. Very secluded and quiet. Perfect for a night or two get away. The path wasn't overly long but had some hills with a couple of tiny water patches. The days we went had almost no bugs. Down side was the platform had a board that was loose and bent. Owner took care of it after we left.

Log Cabin House

After driving on the private road for 10 min, we arrived at a charming rustic Log Cabin, which can sleep up to 7 people, a basic kitchen ( 2-burner hotplate, fridge, sink; dishes, pots and pans, cutlery available). There is a beautiful view of the lake, which can be accessed via a short path down the hill. There was a dock, 2 kayaks and a canoe. which kept our young teens busy. Also a nice fire pit, with extra rocks to sit on. Matthew is a very nice, welcoming and accommodating host.

Wonderful Stay

Eagle Camp

It was our second time staying at Matthew’s camp and yet again we have nothing but good things to say! He was very accommodating to our later arrival and helped bring our things to our site. This time we stayed at Eagle’s camp and the view did not disappoint. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the clean, and well stocked amenities. Thank you again Matthew and we look forward to another trip out there!

Amazing first camping experience!

Raven Camp

My fiancé and I had a two night stay at Camp Raven in the beginning of August to celebrate our anniversary. As someone who grew up in the city and has never experienced camping in any capacity, I was as excited as I was nervous. Luckily, thanks to how naturally beautiful and welcoming this reserve of nature is, along with Matthew’s kindness and empathetic hosting, coming back to Camp Raven is something we’re very excited to make a tradition out of! The highlights for me have got to be: The amazing quality of the lakes, the boating (kayaking and canoeing), the campfires we were able to make right next to our lodging, the hiking trails surrounded by trees, and the view right from our cabin/lodge! I’d highly recommend Camp Raven to beginners like myself, as well as experienced campers. The various activities mentioned above, Matthew’s kindness and professionalism, along with the vast and beautiful nature reserve is sure to be an overall incredible experience for anyone. I feel very thankful to have found Camp Raven and look very forward to coming back soon!

Matthew nous a encore extrêmement bien accueillit aux Dobedo Camps. Nous avions réservé le camp Hermitage mais finalement nous avons préférer le Strawberry fields, plus comode pour venir en voiture sur le site du camps. Intimité, calme, grands espaces, ce lieu est un joyau pour le campeur avertit qui verra au Dobedo Camps un petit paradis sur terre à moins de deux heures de Montréal. Nous reviendrons!

Log Cabin House

Excellent experience. Very quiet and private spot by the lake, all the amenities work great and are in immaculate shape. There were absolutely no mosquitoes. Highly recommended.

Rock Face Guesthouse

Stayed in the Rock Face guesthouse with two friends of mine, we were lucky enough to have the whole site to ourselves which was lovely! For those whole are curious, there was intermittent cell reception just in case you'd like to text your loved ones but not fast enough to do much else, which is the way it should be imo. Gorgeous piece of land and Matthew was very kind and gracious for our whole stay. Would highly recommend a weekend getaway here if you're in Montreal or the nearby area.

My partner and I loved everything about this site. The lake was great to swim in and it was beautiful to wake up to in the morning. If the sky is clear at night, you can see absolutely everything in the sky!!! I will definitely be coming back again, and I highly recommend to anyone wanting quiet and private time in nature. Matthew is a very nice and welcoming host :))

Very nice camping spot, secluded with good balance of sun and shade. Platform is a plus, our 8person tent was too big for it so we used it as a big table. Pit fire is nicely equiped with a removal grill. Relaxing River to help you sleep at night and lay on the platform at night to see the stars 🤩 Small town 10 minutes. Lots of bugs so bring your spray! Small 2 minutes walk to the location from the parking as it's deep in the forest. Nice people. Gate is locked every night for safety from outsiders but owner opens it during the day just message and he'll help! Thanks again to Matthew and his son for welcoming us!

Romantic getaway

Hawk Camp

We stayed at hawk camp which has a great view and comfy bed! The forest walk down to the water was lovely, we saw lots of frogs and toads. The common kitchen area has everything we needed for cooking. Matthew was a very nice host! We recommend this place, not too far from Montreal!

Great weekend retreat

Raven Camp

Beautiful campground lots to see and do. It's very relaxing. Do bring your bug repellents the flies are out to get you. highly reccomend the kayak and portage trails. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Matthew was super nice and helpful!
