Shady Pines on the Sandy River
Shady Pines, Planes and the River
Shady Pines had a lovely area to set-up our tent and the bathroom set-up was great. The chairs and the fire pit were a wonderful to have since we did not bring our own chairs. We were hoping to use the tent that Shady Pines advertised in their pictures so we would not have to set-up our tent for just one night but there was no tent when we arrived. Thankfully we had our own tent. It was a surprise for us to learn that this area of Oregon is right under the landing path of planes coming into the Portland airport so the air traffic was noisy at times. The river was beautiful!

Bell Tent on the Riverbank
I stayed two nights at the Bell Tent and it was just the escape I needed. :) Lovely & thoughtful accommodations, very convenient location, and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the days. I look forward to a return visit! Thank you for allowing others to appreciate your amazing setup!

Wonderful Base Camp!
Briana was a great hostess! She was prompt in any questions we had and was so accommodating. The tent is located on a serene stretch of the river and was a fantastic base camp for exploring the surrounding area. The bed was very comfortable and the tent had a variety of amenities that made our stay perfect! Relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking was just what we needed. Thank you Briana!

Wonderful location right on the banks of the Sandy River. It was nice to float down the river. Edison lights lining the path and in the tent were a lovely touch. Coffee and tea in the tent was a nice bonus. Super responsive and helpful host
