Super Family Friendly! Moo! 🐮🐷🐔
Once we found this place by Googling the name versus following the map on Hipcamp, the weekend was smooth sailing. Onda & Mike were wonderful hosts on their sweet little working farm (FYI: lots of farm smells & sounds that come/go that were a part of the experience, but nothing too terrible)! We were a group of 7 with 4 kids aged 5-13yo and we all enjoyed getting a tour of the farm, collecting chicken eggs, feeding the goats & pigs, and watching Molly, the cow, get milked. If we had one more day, we would’ve loved to have a soak in their claw foot tubs and had a chance to row on their pond. Next time! I would def recommend this camp for families!

Wonderful working farm
Bluestone Natural Farms is a real working farm, very well kept and clean. The tent area is lush with grass. Location is great for day trip to Smith Rock state park, a true gem of a park. The owners are friendly and helpful. They run a store where you can buy farm fresh eggs and milk. We loved this place.

Nice farm, fun animals!
Onda and Michael were great hosts. This was our first Hipcamp experience, and the farm was a fun place to stay. All was good, except the porta potties - not good. . Not a problem for us, as we have a bathroom in our trailer, but we prefer to use other potties if we can. The chickens, goats and piggies were so much fun to watch! We’ll be giving Hipcamp another try in the future!

Bark at the Moon
Had an amazing time. Mike and Onda are wonderful hosts. Great views and even better with the random animal noises you'll hear. During one of the nights we heard a group of coyotes howling at the moon. Incredible. 10/10...would go again.

The teepee is fun and fairly roomy.
We were welcomed and assisted by Mike, not Onda. Nice host. Mike was gracious in giving us fire wood and sheets for the futon mattress. It was very hot and ultimately rained. He also shared about the area. We do have to say that although they attempted to make us comfortable and offered a sink and Por-ta-potty, we were happy we brought our own hand soap, the sink leaked and splattered and the port-a-potties were full and discussing. Shd be reported. We never met Onda. We recommend they try sleeping in the teepee and using the sink and potty.

Wonderful hosts and great for kids
We had a wonderful time at Bluestone farms. Onda and Mike were kind, interesting hosts. They showed us around the farm, and let our son help feed the chickens, goats and pigs, witness the milking of the cow, and ogle the farming equipment. Their site is comfortable and has a sink to do your dishes. We really enjoyed our visit and would return in a heartbeat.

Baby goats and sweet camping
We loved our stay at Bluestone Natural Farm! We had a shady campsite, and my kids adored helping care for the chickens and baby goats! Mike gave us a tour of the turkeys, pigs, and cows, too. We even got to row the boat around their small pond. Such a sweet experience!

This was a fantastic and peaceful place to stay. We spent time with the animals or just sitting under a tree talking or reading. The hosts are fun and enthusiastic and welcome you to participate in the farm life. My husband had a blast helping to make a hog pen, while I read a book. We saw newborn twin goats. It's also very close to both Prineville and Redmond. It was too hot to enjoy Smith Rock but it was close and I enjoyed the view from my chair under the tree.

Farm Livin'
Bluestone~ Our stay here was comfortable and fun. Mike and Onda are very friendly and welcoming and a wealth of information. A cool soak in the clawfoot tub was just what we needed after a long day at Smith Rock, and the clean toilets and running water made our time at Bluestone pleasant. We loved being able to ‘hide out’ from the rain under the covered porch one evening, watching the lightning as the storm rolled across the valley. We also loved seeing their animals and their grandson was friendly and fun to talk to. Their little store is the perfect place to purchase a thank you gift for friends watering our garden at home. Wonderful stay!

Baby goats and more!
We had a wonderful stay at Bluestone Natural Farms. We stayed at RV spot #1 and were thankful for the hookups as it got to be over 95 degrees during our stay. We had a sweeping view of the Cascade Mountains with sunsets every evening. Our 10 year old daughter loved the animals, especially the baby goats. The property is conveniently located off the highway between Redmond and Prineville and the only slight negative is the road noise. The hosts were very accommodating and I would recommend this property. We would love to go back, thanks for the fun times!

Wonderful Csmping Spot
Bluestone was an absolutely lovely camping spot. Perfect view of the Cascades and the sunsets were spectacular. The sink and the portable bathrooms were clean and convenient and the outside tubs were a great way to start the day.
Only 10 to 15 minutes from Redmond.

Our stay at Bluestone Natural Farms was everything we were looking for. The farm's location between Bend and Smith Rock made all of our plans accessible, from hiking and outdoor rec to checking out local shops and restaurants. Coming back to the farm at the end of the day was a dream with gorgeous sunset views of all the Central Oregon mountains. At the end of each day, we loved making the rounds on all the animals and learning about their care (especially the baby goats)! Mike and Onda were very hospitable and friendly hosts. We would not hesitate to book a stay at Bluestone the next time we plan a trip to Bend!

I had a good time staying at Bluestone Natural Farm. Michael and Onda were very friendly and the camp was exactly as described. It was very convenient to Smith Rock and had a beatiful view of many snow capped mountain peaks. I would definitely recommend staying there and plan on staying again.

This was one of our first stops on our trip, and Onda and Mike were so welcoming! We got a tour of the farm too. The grounds are beautiful. Porta potty was clean and convenient with a sink with running water next to it. Even though you’re on a farm we didn’t find it smelly or loud. It was very peaceful and beautiful. Short drive to Bend and Smith Rock State Park where we spent our days exploring. Thanks for a great stay!

Down on the farm....
We stayed at Blue Stone Natural Farms for 3 nights. Onda is a great host: responsive and accommodating. She held amazon packages for us and accommodated all our requests. The site has a beautiful view of the mountain range, is flat and has easy access. There are porto-toilets, a very useful outdoor sink, garbage and access to a water hose.
This is a working farm with animals sounds and associated smells. To us it was a plus. Since it’s a working farm, people are coming and going doing chores-so privacy is limited. We would definitely stay again.
PS store front sells meats, eggs, etc...all homegrown.
