Pond Retreat ~ 1.5 Acres of Nature & Wildlife Welcome to a 1.5 acre pond sanctuary, surrounded by mature trees, open skies, and peaceful countryside. Wake up to herons fishing in the shallows, turtles sunbathing on logs, bald eagles overhead, and birdsong in every direction. In the evenings, the farmer’s field behind the property glows at sunset, frogs hum you to sleep, and fireflies flicker around the pond under a sky full of stars. This booking gives you shared access to the land, we also have a Tiny home on the property which may or may not be rented during your stay. Guests have full use of the open field space for tent setup, access around the pond, the harvest table area, and a designated private fire pit. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the land, whether that’s setting up multiple tents, relaxing in a hammock stargazing in the open field, or gathering around the fire. Access & Layout You can drive directly onto the gravel areas of the property for easy unloading. Parking is available on site near the shed & big tree. The property is relatively flat with a mix of open grassy space and mature trees. The pond is not super accessible by foot but can be enjoyed from the main hangout area under the maple tree. Amenities • A newly built wooden outhouse with composting toilet is located on the property and is easily accessible from the camping area. • Hand sanitizer is provided in the outhouse. • Well water is available via an outdoor hose for washing and basic use (guests should bring drinking water or a filtration system if preferred). • A private fire pit is available for your group. Activities Guests are welcome to: • Set up a hammock in the pine trees • Wildlife watch (herons, eagles, turtles, and more) • Relax with a nice meal at the harvest table • Stargaze in the open field • Explore nearby beaches and provincial parks (10-20 minutes away) This site is designed for peaceful stays, nature immersion, and quiet enjoyment of the land.
