As always it’s my third visit and Eileen is very welcoming , went and found a spot to set up it’s quiet right in the middle of nature I always feel safe

We had an excellent time at Whispering Pines! The camp sites are spacious, private, and each one is unique. Eileen greeted us warmly and was available if we needed anything or had any questions. This is a great spot to camp and connect with nature. We will 100% be returning!

Eileen is such a very sweet lady all throughout our stay. We stayed for 3 nights with 2 kids and they both loved it. There are tons to do to keep your kids busy. There is the playground and the small pond/ lake.
You get to choose your own campsite. Not all of them has picnic tables. It's private and there's lots of trees for some shade.
The campground is very rustic and is a nice way to get in touch with nature.
When I told Eileen that one of my kids got stung by a 🐝, she immediately gathered leaves for remedy and offered other solutions for relief. She's always around and available when you need help. She even lent us a booster cable for the car, lol.
All in all, we love Eileen's land and we are planning to come back. My only comment are the outhouses that I think need some improvements. They are dispersed around the campground so whichever site you choose, outhouses are just around the corner.

Beautiful wooded space with an amazing friendly host !
We had a great weekend and wonderful time a very calm and quiet camp ground with great friendly neighbour's. The campsites are clean and very naturesque . Its a very woodsie and natural vibe . I would definitely recommend if you want to get away from city life and just take it easy around a fire .
Quite a few spots that are great for star gazing and catching the moon , we had a great time and plan to go back !
Not necessarily the most entertaining for teens so maybe plan some activities to bring and help keep entertained , though there is a cute little man made beach and a small parc for younger kids .

We went tent camping and picked out a site from a lovely selection, so much space and privacy which we really appreciated. Eileen was very welcoming and kind. This is a great spot to wind down in nature and spend quality time with loved ones. The beach is nice and spacious. I will say if you are looking for a large clear water lake to swim in this may not be the best candidate but Wispering Pines makes up for it in other ways. Happy camping:)

Fantastic land, feels like it’s welcoming you as soon as you arrive. Eileen is a wonderful lady. Plenty of camp sites with options for more or less privacy. Great little playground for kids and a swimming pond with little beach. 100/10 will definitely be going back

A wonderful place to relax. This was our first camping trip with the kids, and we are very pleased. It’s perfect for families. Everything is clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. The tent sites are beautiful and cozy. There is a children’s playground right in the forest. Highly recommend!

We had the most lovely, peaceful camping trip for our anniversary at Whispering Pines! Eileen is generous and kind, the campground is beautiful and just what we were looking for. We got lots of love from Shadow as well, who came to check in on us around dinner time. Definitely coming back to this gorgeous getaway in nature.

This campground is magical, very special. It is very peaceful, very quiet. At night, All I could hear were the wind blowing in the très and someTimes the animals roaming around at night.
The Forest is absolutely stunning. I got to choose if I wanted to camp under pine trees, Apple trees, oak…
This place is the place of like rustique camping.
Oh! And Eleein is a lovely lady. The love for her very special forest transpires in the way she keeps it so authentic.

Whispering Pines is a great spot for real camping. The campsites offer good privacy, and the pond is perfect for a short swim with a sandy area that gives off a beach vibe. I truly loved this experience and willing to try again.. What really stood out is Eileen's welcoming greeting.. she's so amazing to make you feel like you're at home.. actually everyone there was nice, helpful and when I bought wood over there they were very generous.. Eileen has shared some of her experience with me by explaining the different types of wood.. which ones to start the fire and which logs to add afterwards.. I got to choose the campsite that I liked ... Eileen was so nice to tell me to take my time to pack when it's check out.. so I was very relaxed when it was time to leave ... It wasn't really a commercial activity for Eileen and she managed to make me feel the same..that what really stood out in this experience and that's why I'm coming back to this enchanted whispering pines ... Thank you Eileen and Thank you everyone.

Overall we loved the camp site and the fact that we could choose the spot that spoke to us. There was shade and light and huge space for us. Unfortunately the lake/beach/pond was not for swimming- perhaps we misunderstood the listing. We contacted the host to get recommendations for swimming but got no answer. Otherwise, the location is great, next to farms if you want to buy local and not far from Ottawa. But no beach which was 90% of the reason why we booked here.

We had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pines. The atmosphere was tranquil and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. The pond was beautiful and absolutely perfect for kids to enjoy. Our whole experience was relaxing from start to finish. Eileen and her team were warm and welcoming. This is true off-the-grid camping, so be sure to come prepared with all your necessities. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature, Whispering Pines is the perfect place.

Nice piece of land to camp with my teardrop.
The places are isolated and really quiet.
Eileen is really welcoming.

This was my first camp from this App, I selected a well reviewed location and wasn’t disappointed. I loved the private feel of the land, it was hard to choose where to set up my camp with so many great options. I feel like I only saw a fraction of what was available. Due to the time I arrived I didn’t get to met Eileen but I met a friendly chap when I arrived and he directed me to pick a site that spoke to me. So I did.

This was. very rustic campground, we picked a spot in Eileen’s backyard and took it from there. The outhouses are available, but quite run down. The bugs were pretty bad, although that’s out of her control.

Whispering Pines was just as amazing on this visit as it was the first time. I was warmly welcomed by Eileen, a most wonderful host whose wisdom seems woven right into the forest itself. “The Lakeview Site” was surrounded by a mix of coniferous and deciduous trees, and the air was alive with birdsong as feathered visitors flitted in and out of view. Shadow, Eileen’s gentle and friendly dog, stopped by for his daily visit, much to our joy. As Charlotte and I wandered about, we stumbled upon new, almost enchanted nooks that invited us to pause and simply breathe it all in. Down by the lake’s edge, frogs of several kinds were leaping and chirping in the warm light. The spirit of this land, combined with the gracious energy of Eileen, creates a setting where the soul feels rested, the mind clear, and the heart quietly renewed. We will visit again!

Such a beautiful natural campground sheltered in shady woods - totally non commercial: such a rare and precious thing these days! Our hostess was most sympathetic (we arrived hot and dusty after a long bike ride) and greeted us with fresh mulberries as well as a few games for my son to keep him occupied. A spring fed lake offers refreshment to weary travellers and everywhere soft sandy soil permits barefoot walking - what a treat. The towering magestic pines onsite truely do whisper and the cry of the whip-poor-will can be heard at night as well as many other more familiar birds. Totally magical stay - well worth the effort to get there!

Eileen’s land is so beautiful! The sites are spacious and well set up, you don’t feel like you’re on top of other campers yet you are not far from the lake, the facilities or other areas of the grounds! The lake/beach was a huge hit for our pup, he met so many furry friends and all the campers we either spoke with or ran into during our stay were so respectful and kind. Eileen herself was such a sweet women who truly cares about your time while staying at Whispering Pines and her beautiful land. She was so sweet and allowed us to extend our stay! Our pup had an amazing time and we will most definitely be back very soon! Many thanks to Eileen

Eileen’s campground is amazing! Not only is it fully dog-friendly (must be kept on a leash), but dogs can even go swimming in the pond! The sites are kept clean and are very nice, guests were also very respectful and Eileen was available if we had any questions/concerns. You can find firewood on site for 10$/bundle, along with sinks for washing dishes.
We’ll be back for sure🤩!!
