12 acres with mature trees located on the Trent Severn waterways north of Orillia! We have many campsites areas available for tent campers. Parking is available alongside Bond road ( see picture ) please park accordingly as others need to park, and then you can walk into the property ( see pictures) and find your campsite. Alternatively, park at the public boat launch at Oak Point Road and load up your boat for a 15-minute ride. Lcbo is a 20-minute walk. The town of Washago is also a 20-minute walk to restaurants and groceries. Along the west side is complete privacy with crown land across the river. Enjoy fishing and swimming in the river! His and her outhouse located at the point of the property. ( bring your own tissue ) Large dock , underwater rocks are there so please be careful, Active Train tracks to the north with an old hand pump well that was used for steam engines back in the day, see if you can find it. Perfect location to get away from people, a good place to hide along the river shore near the dam which is the trail to the left walking in after the 3rd bend in the trail, or if you want to be seen set up camp on the point at the end of the trail We are 1hr 45 min from Oshawa. Campfires are permitted refer to local fire bylaws , pets are welcome. Leave foot prints not trash Checkout time is 1pm to allow others to get set up . If you need to call me to verbally hear the directions how to access the property which is listed above with pictures , Please do not book this site .       I loved the spot for camping and swimming but the trains were excessive. They came often and were loud. The remote feeling was lost on the repeated noise.

      It was a great spot to camp for sure!! It is a bit of a walk in so you will want to pack as light as possible. But it was a beautiful spot to be and I would go back 100% I just wish other campers were respectful of the property and area and better at cleaning up after themselves. Overall a great stay!

      Rick has a very unique spot here. Good access to swimming, a nice dock to hangout on and a good fire pit. Would stay again!

      Camp site was good and level Lots of boat traffic throughout the day(it is on the Trent Severn waterway) Good fishing just keep an eye out for boats. Plenty of space and dry wood. Prepare for mosquitoes on the hike in.

      Had a great stay at this campsite during Canada day long weekend. The hike in was not as bad as we expected and having a wagon definitely helped. The outhouses were well maintained and the sites were clean. Would stay again Thanks for a great time!

      Such a beautiful spot with crystal clear water. The view of the night sky was fantastic! There is a 5 min walk to the site so bring a cart to avoid multiple trips to and from your car. Bring lots of mosquito repellent.
