While Grey Havens was the final chapter in Tolkien's trilogy, we continue creating a paradise here. This is a separate in-house lodging only unit: private bedroom and bathroom, shower and covered porch (no kitchen). It is on the second level, one short flight of stairs up a timber-framed porch. You will have access to all waterfront amenities that may be shared by others on the site. This includes a large firepit patio/deck, dock and kayak/canoe launch. This space is super quiet, isolated from the humdrum of a household. Readers can relax on the cool covered porch rain or shine and enjoy an eclectic selection of books from the office of a working author. This space is your hosts writing retreat when not occupied by guests.
