Andrew is a great host, super friendly and patient. The site is beautiful and comfy. If you’re going by the area definitely stop here with some time so you can enjoy the place to the max.

I would like to start this by saying the host was very kind and friendly. First off the site location pin is at the wrong address, site is very small and not flat enough for a tent. It is a very rocky steep drive way that many cars would not make it up. The site was so infested with mosquitoes that we packed up and left the site at 11 pm to drive 8 hours to our next location.

Very good spot not too far (approx. 30-40 minutes) from the city.
Friendly host who suggested some places to visit in Thunder Bay and helped us as we ran into some issues with camping gear.
Prepare mosquitoes repellent :)

Both my dog & I enjoyed our stay on Andrew's property. His family was very welcoming & they made sure we had everything we needed. This is a great place for anyone who enjoys a true camping experience.

One of my favourite camping trips. I picked a spot nestled into the bush which you do have to hike in and out of which only adds to the wilderness feeling. Secluded and peaceful, this was a true camping experience. Direct access to the lake with awesome fishing only a short hike away from the camp site(depending on the spot you choose.)
The host were fantastic people, super kind and welcoming. Andrew took the time to show me around, made sure I knew where everything was and answered any questions I had. If I am ever in that area I will for sure be back!
