If you want privacy and seclusion this is your place . Our family lives on 88 acres 10 minutes from the town of Campbellford. We are on a dead end road out in the country. Upon arrival simply pulled up our laneway at our house and follow the signs to the River. We are located on Bradley Bay on the Trent river with kms of lock free boating between Percy Boom and Glen Ross . We are located across from an island called Anderson island. Pike, pickeral, bass , Muskie ,channel cat ,and pan fish are in these waters. Our point is very private with plenty of birds and wild life to watch . We have one of our trails marked clearly threw out the woods for you to enjoy . We have a canoe, an adult kayak and child’s kayaks included . On the point we have a small fire pit and 2 docks. 2 of the docks face the river and one is up our little lagoon . A wonderful place for adults and children alike to fish , swim , relax and catch frogs and fire flies. We do have a few chairs and a child’s little turtle pool to swim and play in. Currently there is no sand at the water entry but it is in the future to be getting some. The point is a long narrow grassy area. There are about 3 spots you could park a trailer . We think currently the max length would be a 22 foot trailer we could accommodate until we are able to open up the area a bit more. A small fishing boot about 14 foot and under could be launched at our water entry otherwise the closest public launch is about 5 minutes down the road . If we plan it ahead of time to ensure we are home we are happy to let you fill your trailer up with water from our house hose on the way down to the point. Otherwise Ferris Provincial Park is about 7 minutes away. There is a filling and dumping station there for a small fee from the park. Things to do In area is the well known suspension bridge located in Campbellford. Doohers bakery and the empire cheese factory and chocolate factory all within 10 minutes from our house . Campbellford is full of little shops and stores. It’s a beautiful walk back towards our house and down the laneway to the road as well. Great quiet country road for children and adults alike to go for a bike ride or walk along the road beside farmers fields where usually deer and sandhill cranes are seen. Upon arrival if arranged ahead of time we can be here to meet and greet you and ensure you are settled in. Otherwise there isn't a guarantee we will be at the property upon arrival. We are located 8 minutes from Campbellford on 88 acres. Our camping site is past our house down a country lane to the river with easy access in and out all times while here. Our house to the site is about a 5 minute walk threw the woods down the road from our house which gives our campers the privacy campers will enjoy during your stay. The site is flat on a grassy area We provide a fire ring , picnic table, small kiddy pool, kayaks and a canoe with paddles for you to enjoy during your stay. Campfire wood is available for purchase for a very large bag of split wood with cash or etransfer. We are located on the Trent River on Bradley Bay with lock free boating between Percy Boom and Glen Ross . A public boat launch is 5 minutes down the road .Our site is very very private and secluded. We have 2 trails threw the woods which are well marked for your pleasure or take a walk or bike ride past our house onto the dirt road along the farmers fields enjoying wild life which usually has deer and sandhill cranes. We are happy to let you fill your water tank from our house or water jugs as needed as we have an outside tap. Otherwise Ferris Provincial Park is about 7 minutes away with a fill up station and dumping station for a fee. Campbellford is 8 minutes away and is well known for our little shops , chocolate factory, doohers bakery , empire cheese factory and swing bridge . Fishing is excellent here and well know for Muskie, pickeral, pike bass and pan fish. We do have a black cat named Carlos who may make her rounds. She is friendly and may pop by to say hi. We do ask no diving off the end of the dock as it isn’t deep enough to make it safe to do so but plenty deep enough for swimming . We have our site listed to accommodate trailers up to 22 feet right at the water or about 100 feet back off the water in a small field which could accommodate a trailer up to 24 feet. We do ask you pack out your garbage and recycling. We hope you love it here as much as our family does.

Our thoughts
All we could say when we arrived was wow this is amazing. Shannon and Phil are amazing host. From allowing us to use their kayaks, cannon, paddleboard, they even think of little details. Privacy is amazing there. Tons of room for your kids to play, even the adults have fun. This will be our new little spot for the summers. Shannon and Phil you both are kind, courteous, thoughtful. Anyone who goes will not be disappointed

Beautiful private riverfront.
We really enjoyed our stay by the river. Took advantage of the dock and water access to SUP. Enjoyed evening campfires by the waterfront and visiting the nearby town of Campbellford. The site was level and offered great sunshine for our solar panel. The hosts were welcoming and took the time to show us to the site. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a secluded getaway.
