We had a really nice stay! Kelly was very helpful and communicative as we made a very last minute booking and showed up after dark. I love the bell tents, they are my new favourite way of camping! Everything is set up for you already, and there is more space than in an average tent or even a bunkie. Would definitely stay here again

Loved the entire layout of Kelly’s campsites, we chose the site with the platform and the structure for tarps was incredible. It was an awesome trip and communicating with Kelly was extremely easy. She made sure we were comfortable and settled. Like everywhere else in Ontario there are tics and we had a few sightings. If you go to this beautiful site make sure you have your repellent and tic key!

I recently stayed at this Hipcamp location and had a great experience. The bell tent is nestled in a beautiful forested area, offering a peaceful and private escape into nature. Inside, it was clean and well-kept, with a surprisingly comfy setup — an inflatable queen bed and a pull-out couch that made it feel cozy and relaxed. It’s a true “in-the-woods” setup, so bring good bug spray. Overall, a great place to unplug and recharge — I’d definitely recommend it!

Had a great time in a great place. Off the hop was welcomed and customer service was well above 5 star. Would highly recommend staying the hemlock hideaway for any reason. We had a great time, and planning a return trip as soon as possible. Was so surprised at level of excellence in customer service, if you plan to camp out and want an authentic experience in true camping I would suggest taking the trip to visit Kelly in the hemlock hideaway. It's was greatest experience in camping I have found. It's glamping but not it was perfect experience that I will remember for ever. Words could not do it justice, it an experience one must have. Owners definitely went above and beyond every expectation.

This campground is a large magnificent parcel of undeveloped land with highly varied terrain from the raw rock of Canadian Shield to ancient hemlock forest, and adjacent marshland. This is true camping, walking in on a rough trail and selecting a space without defined sites. With lower lying areas soaked from a recent rain, I picked out a small flat area on a well-drained hillside, close to the entrance. It was perfect. A wooden bench near the entrance was delight for a fall brunch. (The one amenity it has for comfort, was a nice new clean outhouse.)

This was such a beautiful place to escape to! If you like some serious true camping and being right in the woods this is the place for you! The host were more then accommodating and did more for us then we ever expected. They were such a friendly couple and gave us lots of privacy. We would love to be back again!

I had a great time camping at Kelly’s property. Stayed only for one night and it was very peaceful. Kelly was very helpful so I could find the property, and gave me all the privacy in the world once I was there. I am fine camping with no washrooms and running water but if that is a problem for you then beware. Overall had a great time, and the tent pad made the rainy night extra comfortable.
