16 acres hosted by Tami H.
Welcome to Tall Trees Camping! After a long day driving, it's time to get off the road and relax in 16 acres of forest. You've earned it!
Located half way between Toronto and Ottawa off Hwy 62, this is where you can easily park your vintage bus, Sprinter van, fifth wheel or toy hauler and instantly be surrounded "360" by maples, birch, firs and more. Paddle board, kayak, fish or swim in the public access lake nearby (bonus - free parking and toilets). ATV or snowmobile right from the property. Hike the woods or trail all the way to Coe Hill where you might not see another soul for hours. Pick blackberries and raspberries. Check out the marshland and more birds than you can shake a stick at. Revel in the silence, and birds. Maybe see deer, moose, bear, fox, squirrel, rabbit, muskrat, beaver, weasel.
It's a quick 20 min for all the amenities (groceries, wine, beer, pharmacy, bookstore, library, postoffice, laundromat, hardware stores, pubs/restaurants - (yes there is a McDonald's) and the almighty Timmy's in nearby Bancroft.
If you are travelling with multiple campers, contact host for more info.
Note, this is a dog-friendly spot.
