We enjoyed the limited fishing we were able to do. It was a nice sized water feature for a small boat, but as soon as the water skiing started for the day we had to stop due to the waves. The inside was extremely simplistic, and not freshly cleaned. This would have been fine, but the futon-type of bed provided didn’t seem clean either. We ended up staying at a hotel by Niagara and just spent the day at the houseboat. I would recommend bringing an air mattress for peace of mind. I understand that many people may be fine leaves doors unlocked, but a lock would be a great option. The view was nice as well as the gazebo. Knowing we were not local, it would have been nice to know that the road leading to the entrance given in Google Maps is under construction with no detour given. We had SOS service only, and had to walk up to a policeman parked in a lot to ask for directions at 11pm. I understood that it was carry in, carry out, but I thought some sort of trash bin would be available at the exit. We are from many hours away and were told by a man as we were leaving to take it home with us. Overall it was a nice spot for one person, two max, to enjoy the water, but not in a relaxing way. It was not our cup of tea, but I do think it would be enjoyable for the right person.
