Sweet Oasis
We took our truck camper to Sweet Oasis and werenât disappointed at all with the view! Spacious and fairly private. The properties around are long and narrow so the neighbours are quite close but hidden by lots of foliage! It did seem like the neighbours were having a party a couple of the nights we were there so I might be mindful of that if youâre looking for a quiet getawayâŚThe water was lovely (Iâd recommend water shoes as itâs quite rocky) we had a nice dip and took out the SUP board. Great way to cool off! Liza was extremely responsive and kind and would highly recommend a stay!!

Sweet Oasis
A nice quiet spot on shore of large lake in southern part of the island so close to ferry crossing. Site is large with many private spots with porch swings or tables and chairs in addition to huge open space. Shoreline is rocky but once past that, water does drop off so nice for swimming at that point. Huge lake would be great for windsurfing once out a little bit.

We had a fun time exploring the shoreline and looking for fossils. Well laid out, we were the only guests when we stayed, looks like we could come back with more friends and family next time. Easy to find, responsive hosts. Thank you!!

This is a lovely property with loads of space, its own waterfront, and beautiful 180° views of South Bay. Bonuses included minimal bugs (late July stay) and so many whimsical sitting spots for every possible combination of sun, shade, mood & scenery. Memories included falling asleep to the sound of lapping waves, hearing a loon in the morning, and watching my dog blissfully enjoying the water! Liza clearly loves the property and I am muchly grateful she shares it with others through Hipcamp. Take note there is a quarry operation in the vicinity which can be heard periodically. For me, it did not substantially impact my enjoyment of the property, and I presume it is only weekdays (I stayed Tue-Fri), but if you are noise-sensitive it is something to mindful of.

Sweet Oasis
Sweet Oasis is a beautiful spot, the grounds were beautiful and right on the water. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's surrounded by solar lights and swings and tables lots of lawn chairs and a very nice fire pit.
