Renee & Randy your property is beautiful. We loved walking all your trails with our dogs. The thought you both put in to the little details like the dog library was so cute. The sunsets were gorgeous and we loved sitting on the floating dock every morning to drink our coffee. If anyone is looking for a get away weekend to disconnect this is the place to go!

My partner and I took a long weekend and stayed at the cedar creek cabin site. Upon arrival we met with both randy and Renee, they welcomed us and showed us the way via atv. (We followed in our car) they led us through a river (only ankle drop at that spot) and over a smaller creek which our car had no issues doing.
Upon entering our site, we were astounded at how large of an area our campsite was! It was huge! And everything was provided for us except our food, and extra firewood which we were able to buy as we needed.
There were many trails we could explore, and along the main road, there were places you could leave your name, and a dog library (take a stick, leave a stick)
We brought our almost 11 year old lab who loved every moment of it! We also brought our bird, who also loved being in a new location.
The property is huge, the other campers were very friendly, and I have no complaints! The weather was cold at night, but we were told ahead of time to bring extra blankets which we did!
The extra care that is put into this by randy and Renee, is outstanding! I totally recommend you to this place.

R&R was such a restful time ☺️ the pond is crystal clear, it was like looking into a whole other world as a rowed across the water. The bunkie is secure, clean and slightly bigger than I expected. Renee & Randy we're wonderful hosts and extremely happy to assist if needed! There wasn't any reception for me and the river crossing is something to inquire about if your vehicle is low riding. I can definitely see myself visiting again ☺️

I enjoyed my stay at Sunset Pond. Very private, quiet and relaxing. Sophie and I enjoyed walks on the trails daily and taking dips in the pond. This would be a wonderful site in the fall as I prefer cooler weather and unfortunately stayed this time in a cooker of a heat wave. I will look at coming back for a couple of days then. I also didn't notice until later that the balloons said Happy Birthday. I appreciate the thought Renee and Randy!

We absolutely loved staying at R&R retreat, there wasn’t a part of it we would have changed! Such a neat adventure getting back to the sunset cabin. Everything was super private, we met Randy upon arrival and we were left to do our own thing! Service was very spotty but it added to the camping feel. If you’re looking for a northern getaway without driving 6 hours, this is your place! Thank you for everything guys

Beautiful! We really noticed the extra TLC put into everything. It was clean and very welcoming. Randy guided us back to our cabin and was extremely friendly and excited to share their space. We definitely will be back to this little slice of heaven! Thank you Renee and Randy!

We stayed in the cedar creek cabin. It was very secluded in a lovely forest setting. Renee and Randy have thought of everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay. There was even a Fire built and ready upon arrival. Thanks again!!

Our stay at R&R’s was amazing! Renee and Randy thought of every detail to make the weekend special. The accommodations, scenery, and wildlife were breathtaking. We are extremely lucky that Renee and Randy share their beautiful property!! We still have so much to explore, and can’t wait to be back again. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect getaway for us! It was absolutely beautiful, we had an amazing time. Our dog loved the pond, everything was right there. I loved everything about it. Randy and Renee made sure we were equipped with anything we need and more. They are great people. We will definitely be back next year!

Renne and Randy are AMAZING hosts! Their 120 acres property is absolutely astonishing!!
There are many trails and large ponds just perfect for fishing, swimming etc.
Everything is well organized, from the cabins and additional spaces for campfire and cooking to each trail.
The cabin is away from others, you gotta cross a swallow river to reach it - that was just the beginning of our adventures! Our two dogs enjoyed tons of free, off leash time.
That’s a perfect place for solo travelers, couples and those with doggies like me.
Everything was clean, well maintained and carefully organized. And you can watch beautiful sunsets from the cabin, floating dock or benches carefully located at the best spots.
We will definitely come back!! Thanks for sharing this piece of paradise with us, R&R

This has to be the most peaceful and relaxing place. Nature at its finest. Sunset Pond is beautiful, and the cabin is just perfect. Renee and Randy definitely know what they are doing.

This property was expansive and stunning. Surrounded by ponds and creeks amongst beautiful cedars, at every turn the property has something new to offer. There are numerous well marked trails across the property which provide hours of hiking and enjoyment. Staying on the sunset pond was great, farthest away on the property but provides privacy and a feeling of adventure crossing a small river to get there. The bunkie was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and keeping warm, although in April the propane heater rental was a definite must have and worth it. Renne and Randy were very attentive to details and take great pride in their wonderful piece of land. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away, relax and enjoy the sounds and feeling of nature all around. Will definitely plan to come back.

Fabulous property. Good walks on the trails and fun fishing in the river. We had two evenings with a gorgeous sunset while sitting by the pond, then sitting by the fire pit and later the stars were many and lovely. The cabin was sweet, tidy and well equipped. Randy and Renee were the perfect hosts.

Such a beautiful slice of Paradise that Randy and Renee have decided to share with others! We wanted somewhere secluded to let our dogs roam and swim. We passed by and got to see the other cabins on the way to the more-secluded Sunset Pond cabin – they are all so thoughtfully placed and cared for. We couldn’t resist getting as much sun as possible and the Sunset cabin did not disappoint. The cabin had lots of supplies, as well as hand wash station, clean porta-potty, and the cooking area was great. They even supplied dog towels! There are grassy trails everywhere to explore as well. We had some chilly fall nights but we were provided extra blankets and perfect firewood. Wonderful glamping experience – we definitely hope to be back some day!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. The hosts provided a very warm welcome and we're very helpful and accommodating.
The cabin and campsite was very well maintained and clean. The Randy and Renee provided a lot of little details to make our stay more comfortable. The cabin was very secluded away from the other guests and our days, nights and campfires were not disturbed by or disuortive to the other guests.
The floating dock was a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
The amenities, including cooking area and portopotty was very clean and maintained.
We would absolutely recommend the site to our friends and would strongly consider revisiting in the future.

We had such a good time in Renee & Randy’s cabin. The pond is beautiful and we loved that we could hear wildlife from nearby provincial parks from our own private pond. Thank you Renee & Randy!

What an absolute oasis. Randy and Renee are wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect and the setting was peaceful and serene. Set beside a little river and perched among the cedars this little cabin was beautiful, the bed was comfortable but the property was the real winner. Beautiful walking trails, rivers, ponds and meadows await you. We left two shot glasses for the next visitors to enjoy. Sitting beside the river sipping tequila and watching the sunset was our idea of heaven and we are sure you will find yours here too. Thanks again Randy and Renee. We will surely be returning.
