Water Access By Canoe. Extremely private 10 acre property with small cabin and bunkie on beautiful Redstone Lake. Outhouse and outdoor shower with hot water. Electricity - small hot water tank for doing dishes in the fully equipped kitchen. A short paddle from the east dam on Klondike Road - Haliburton, Ontario. Dogs are welcome but should be on a leash (porcupines in the area and neighbours won't appreciate wandering, unknown dogs).Welcome to Porcupine Pass on beautiful Redstone Lake! A water access only, small rustic cabin that sleeps 2 people (one queen bed upstairs with an office area) and a clean spacious bunkie with two sets of bunk beds. It’s set on 10 acres of forest with 500 feet of waterfront on Redstone Lake, and 500 feet of river (separated by the Redstone dam). If you enjoy your privacy, experiencing and hearing wildlife, swimming, fishing (bass and trout), forested surroundings, and a rustic environment, you’ll love Porcupine Pass.
To manage expectations, please know that Porcupine Pass is closer to a glamping experience than a modern-day cottaging experience. We do have limited hot running water in the kitchen for doing dishes (no dishwasher). There is an outdoor shower (propane heated) and the toilet is an outhouse. A fully equipped kitchen and potable water are provided.
A canoe and kayak are available to explore the lake. We’re 20 minutes from the town of Haliburton (shopping, restaurants, farmers’ market, tennis courts, parks, etc.) and 10 minutes from Eagle Lake Country store (LCBO and food etc).
There are puzzles, cards, and games to play on rainy days.
Dogs (on leash only) are most welcome - just not on the furniture, please.
No fires are permitted given the hazardous situation in Ontario.
