If you are looking for a unique, pet friendly, getaway experience then you have come to the right place! We have 3 beautiful, authentic Mongolian yurts situated in our 3-acre flower meadow – available all year-round – the perfect place to relax and unwind in every season. Love the outdoors?… Our “biggest little town” of Kearney sits on the Magnetawan river system, which connects 4 lakes so there are LOTS of fishing opportunities. It has a public beach, several boat launches, stores where you can rent canoes, kayaks, book adventures and more – all within a 5-minute walk from our property. We are close to Algonquin Provincial Park, Arrowhead Provincial Park and central to many beautiful walking/ATV/Cycle/Cross-Country Skiing and Sledding trails (we connect directly to the D trail) …and as an added bonus, the Ontario Parks office is onsite so you can just pick up your passes and go! We are surrounded by lakes - great for fishing and swimming and the public dock/beach are just a 5 minute walk from our property. Close to all that nature has to offer, let your outdoor adventure begin! What’s included... Luxury glamping at its best! Hansen House has a king size bed , cozy seating area and breakfast nook - perfect for a romantic getaway Have something to celebrate? Ask us about our charcuterie boards! We can have it all set up for your arrival Bed linen is provided Your yurt has its own private outhouse - toilet paper/hand sanitizer is provided You have a small kitchenette area where basic crockery/cutlery and glassware/ a kettle/coffee press/Coffee/Tea/sugar/salt and pepper/paper towel/dish soap and drying rack are provided You have a small propane fridge Outside there is a cooking table and charcoal barbecue - umbrella for shade and picnic table for al fresco dining We provide you with drinking water and water for washing dishes Your yurt has a wood burning stove - we supply enough wood and fire starters to last you for your stay - if you require more - it can be purchased and delivered to your yurt for $10 Your yurt has its own fire pit/cooking grill and outdoor chairs - wood is not provided, but can be purchased and delivered to your yurt for $10/bundle We provide a 1000 watt portable power station with AC/USB ports. We offer a complimentary hot shower in the main building - towels are provided There are several restaurants in town/close by for dining options Pet owners must inform us of all pets travelling with them.
