This is a very private little slice of heaven that I've been pleased to steward for over 20 years. If you love the sound of frogs singing, and bullfrogs plucking their banjo strings, red-winged blackbirds trilling, you will love it here. The property is literally right across the road from the Mono Cliffs Provincial Park which boasts amazing trails, views and features the Niagara Escarpment. The 4-acre pond/wetland is designated 'Provincially Significant' by the Ministry of Natural Resources and is an important part of the Nottawasaga Watershed. This area is renowned for its terrain - the fields are rolling and the views are quite special. You will enjoy a private firepit and private overlook at the pond with hammock. The site isn't visible from the road. Our house is visible from the site but far enough away as to not disturb one another. We have a newly added outhouse with lighting that will make your stay comfortable. My 10-acre property is adjacent to Mono Cliffs Provincial Park and many other hiking and biking trails. 4-acre pond/marsh which is excellent for kids to find turtles and such when they are nesting, etc. Excellent birdwatching by the pond - ducks, geese, and occasionally swans. Private firepit, and private overlook at the pond with hammock. The site isn't visible from the road.  Our house is visible from the site but far enough away as to not disturb one another.   UPDATE: We have just added a brand new outhouse! Friendly dogs are welcome!     If you are hiking the Bruce Trail which is very close by, I'm happy to be an "Uber Driver" to drop you off or pick you up for a fee. There are also horse shoe pits on the north side of the property which you are welcome to use.

This campsite was awesome with so much privacy! Donna was helpful with showing around. The only downside was the bad internet reception, but who cares! You are in the wild!!

Great place to stay
The space was great, I was able to get my 15ft camper in and out easily. Quiet location, and close to the BTC trails. I will stay here again when hiking in the area.

I keep coming back!
I am a repeat visitor to this property and cannot say enough about how wonderful the host and the property is. I require assistance with parking my vehicle at my hike end and then getting a lift to my hike start point. This service has been invaluable to hiking the Bruce trail nearby where UBER is not available and there are mobile dead zones. If you enjoy the sound of crickets, frogs, woodpeckers, roosters and other authentic sounds of nature and a green space to contemplate without the distraction of technology, this is the ideal destination.

5/5 !! Awesome campsite ! Beautiful place with trees and a pond in the back, very enjoyable. Donna was very nice and took care of us. A setup for campfire and restrooms are available too which is very convenient.

Relaxing sounds of nature.
This was a lovely, quiet location, next to a pond with a chorus of peeper frogs at night to lull me to sleep. Donna was the most accommodating host yet, and I will certainly be returning to her site.
