The main lodge has 7 rooms and can accommodate groups of 16; with an adjacent suite for 2. All our charming cottages, with scenic decks where you can just relax or barbecue, can sleep 4-6. Our sandy beach property also has an outdoor temperature-regulated swimming pool and hot tub. The name comes from the wide windows that open to the gorgeous Marble Lake views just beneath it The Lakeview Cottage boasts a magnificent patio overlooking the Lake and the horizon beyond, enjoy sunrise/sunset from the inside or the outside of this renovated and newly decorated Cottage. The Lakeview Cottage has 2 rooms one with a Queen Size bed and one with 2 double beds. It also has a kitchenette with a full size fridge and a hotplate.

The Woodview Cottage was built around 1930 and renovated in the 1960’s and given another round of love and care in 2006. The Woodview Cottage is a fully encased pinewood cottage with high ceilings. The all wooden interior allows for a welcoming and warm atmosphere inside this 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the Woods, 1 min walk to the private beach of Marble Lake. The Woodview Cottage has two rooms each with a bunk bed the lower one in double size and the top one in twin size. The modern interior boasts a kitchen equipped with an electric stove, full sized fridge, and coffee-maker.

The Lodge - Myers Cave Resort

Myers Cave Lodge sits in the pristine Land 'O Lakes region in Eastern Ontario. It was built in1892 but has been completely renovated and remodeled using the original structure to accommodate all the modern conveniences of the 21st century; heating, wifi, etc. The property sits on 5 acres of rolling landscape with dense woods, grassy grounds and steep rocks, has access to the sandy beach on Marble Lake and the rapids on the east. The Lodge is a 2 1/2 story building with a stone foundation and frame construction. Front veranda extends on two sides, and there is a wrap around rear deck overlooking the large swimming pool and hot tub. It has 7 bedrooms (4 en-suite), total 7 bathrooms, large fully equipped kitchen, 3 entertainment/gathering rooms, and a billiards room. The Lodge comes fully equipped to entertain up-to 18 people - including on-site management. There is an attached Executive Suite with full en-suite bathroom and a private kitchenette; additional capacity to sleep 4 people - can be added to the booking for an additional fee. The Lodge is a local historical landmark, having been built in 1892 by Charles MacGregor. An old register from the Lodge shows a William Washington of Scarborough, Ontario as the first guest in 1921. As the business grew over time, other buildings were put up, including a barn, dance hall, and cottages. Another one of the original structures on the property, a log ice-house, still stands today, to the west of the main Lodge. If you enjoy the great outdoors, like being close to a waterway, have access to some great fishing regions or just relaxing in a tranquil setting away from the hustle and bustle of city life then Myers Cave Resort may just be what you are looking for.

The Suite is connected to the Lodge with its own private entrance, it is winterized, and accessible year-long. The Suite can be rented on its own or as part of The Lodge. The Suite has wrap-around wide windows that give perfect views of the outdoors, and a large patio with outdoor furniture. The Suite has a Queen bed and a sofa bed as well as a kitchenette with hotplate and medium size fridge, as well as a private washroom.

A Waterfront Delight

Lakeview Cottage-Myers Cave Resort
What a picturesque setting with SO many options of accommodation and activities. We were blessed with beautiful weather during our stay and not many other guests which made it very peaceful. This cabin is perfectly set atop a hill so you get the stunning water views without being right in the action on the waterfront. There is a bit of a walk to the cabin from parking across the road, as well as down a flight of wooden stairs to the waterfront. The cabin was equipped with air conditioning which is very necessary in this summer's heat. The bedrooms were nicely tidied up and prepared with all the linens and towels needed. There was a delightful surprise awaiting us on the dining table with local wine, maple syrup and some other snacks. Our host was very communicative and helpful in preparing for this trip and making himself available if we needed anything during our stay. We would love to go back with friends to rent more cabins and share the experience together.

Fantastic Resort!
Lakeview Cottage-Myers Cave Resort
We had the fortune to meet the owner Mike and his wife, they are both genuinely nice people. The camp ground is private property with a few cabins, a big lodge with various rooms and a new large barn style building that is under construction. Everything was clean, orderly and exceeded our expectations. The owner Mike was very accommodating when we needed something or had questions. The lake is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are situated beside a shallow rapid which is nice to sit by and have a coffee. The beach is well maintained and you have access to free kayaks, paddle boats etc. There is also an in ground pool and hot tub near the lodge. We will definitely be going back, this is a truly beautiful spot with great and friendly owners.
