What a slice of heaven! Really enjoyed the location by the park, and the campsite is quiet and perfectly spaced out. Would stay here again. Only 40 minutes from Niagra Falls.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!!!
Tafean’s site was a perfect weekend getaway!!!
First off, the host: Tafean had excellent communication throughout the entire process- promptly answering all my questions prior to booking, the initial check-in and the check-out. She informed us of events happening nearby (fireworks at Port Colbourne) which we happily attended.
The site: Tafean’s site is beautifully located- about a 3 minute walk from a quiet beach, 25-30 min drive from Niagara Falls, 5 mins from a No Frills/Dollarama. We woke up to birds singing and marvellous nature sounds. The trees at the site provided optimal shade from the sun/heat. There’s also a fire pit on site and firewood available which was for perfect for s’mores making!
As a first time HipCamp user, I’m so glad that this was a great experience. I would definitely recommend Tafean’s campsite! :)

This is a pretty location. I especially enjoyed the sound of the lake at night in the distance. There is a lot of room to set up the tent and a fire pit, which is nice. Thanks for everything!

Camping near the Great Niagara Fall
The camp site has beautiful grass lawn. It was very quiet. The birds sang to you and the wildlife that visit gave it the feel of camping in pioneer days. The easy access to the magnificent view of Lake Erie is breathtaking. The closeness to drive to Niagara Falls, Fort Erie, and Fort George makes this one of my return spots. Watching the large ships float through the narrow passage at Port Colborne was great. Tafean was a great host, and offered me to use the fire ring at night, however with all the sights so close I was exhausted. The sunset from Morgan’s Point on the last night concluded a very excellent camping experience.
