A private 1300' frontage on the Thames River almost guarantees peace and quiet! Enjoy bird watching, fishing, or a bit of hiking on the nearby Thames Valley Walking Trail. Only minutes from London, but it feels hours from anywhere!Your site faces two islands and a pine forest. There is easy access to the water and the Thames Valley Walking Trail begins about 200 feet north of the site. Park at your designated spot at the road and walk the winding path through heritage woodland down to the site. The trails are a bit steep so it's best to bring good boots/shoes!

The perfect place if you are looking for privacy. Lovely, well maintained site, super nice, accommodating hosts who even drive all your stuff in for you! Also ideal for dogs who need more space than on a regular campground, my girl had a fantastic time.

David took care of everything. It is such a beautiful private space . We really had a great time. The camp was an extra that we got added but the setup was so comfortable with the mattress. Thanks for such an amazing stay!

Beautiful well kept campsite! Loved the twinkle lights at night and how peaceful it is. Not too many bugs considering it’s close to water as well which was a plus! David was super nice and helped drive our gear back up to the cars at the end of our stay. There is a little path down to the site which can be a little slippery in the forest area when went but manageable

David was a great host, it felt like back country camping as you had to park by the road and walk down to the site. David helps take your things up and down which was very considerate! The scenery was amazing and it was very quiet. A relaxing trip for sure

David's spot is amazing. The spot has everything you would want for a couple night getaway. Quiet, beautiful, a shaded area and a creek to play in. We even managed to get some paddleboarding in although that took some effort and finesse to make work due to the creek being quite shallow in areas. My daughter and I were still able to make good fun with it. BIG fish in that creek too! Highly recommend to anyone of any experience and desire. We typically go to provincial parks but decided to try hipcamp for a weekend. Perfect for first timers and also for experienced campers. David and his wife helped to transport all of our family's stuff from where we parked. They were very flexible with their timing too. Would come back again.
